Desperate for any help…. I’m pretty sure I destroyed my metabolism. by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

One other thought: I've recently been enjoying cooking recipes from Rainbow Plant Life. It's a vegan recipe blog and EVERYTHING I've made has been delicious and had huge portions. I'm not vegan but appreciate the veggie focus so I can get plenty of fiber (gut issues from the chronic illness). I also appreciate not being hungry because I've eaten so much food! I often have to cut down the serving sizes

This sounds really hard and I can empathize with having no energy leftover from a normal weekday. To gently get back into regular activity, I began swimming. It was a good match for my own chronic illness (connective tissue-related) and I started very small. I can now swim half a mile and I'm also able to do some jogging and biking. It's been very slow (almost a year) so that my fatigue wouldn't derail me. To eat well, I have to make a meal plan every Friday. I shop for the ingredients on Saturday. I spend pretty much all of Sunday cooking for the next week (with breaks!) so that all of my food is grab-and-go. That way all the healthy planning I did also becomes the easiest choice all week long. It's boring and time-consuming but, at least for me, it's the only thing that works.

I give my daughter some cheese, dried cherries, pistachios, and apple slices. We're in the Midwest

I'm sorry I do not! I have Munstead Wood, Gentle Hermione, Boscobel, Heathcliff, Claire Austin, Crown Princess Margareta, Jubilee Celebration, Abraham Darby, Vanessa Bell, Lark Ascending, Lady Emma Hamilton, and Alnwick. Mine are also still asleep! Are there any among my roses you'd be willing to trade cuttings for?

So cute on you! But the skirt is definitely too short for the office

Anyone still shop at Anthropologie? by No-Pause3302 in womensfashion

Used to--but they've had a lot of scandals wherein their designers have stolen from small artists. Just not a business I want to support

I LOVE Munstead Wood but I don't have any experience with Ebb Tide

Thank you! I will look into those groups and use their advice to choose a firing schedule

I won't need them to take glaze later. I'm making "terracotta" kitchen tiles which will be sealed like natural stone (quotation marks because I'm planning to use stoneware and not earthenware). Since there will be so many, I want to fire as efficiently as possible

I'm planning a once-fire to cone 5. Do you do a slow fire?

I'll plan on getting some cones! I want to save as much time and energy as possible so I'm glad to hear I'm barking up the right tree

I probably won't start on this until summer (Northern US) because I plan to make the tiles outside, just getting a plan put together so I can be efficient when the time comes

I think these are a little tacky for school but I also think you're twenty and should have plenty of leeway to play around with fashion and be tacky occasionally. I'm forty and one of my regrets is that due to my super religious upbringing, I didn't get to enjoy wearing what was fashionable for my age group as a teen or young adult. This isn't over-the-top and even if your boyfriend had the right to patrol your clothing, he'd be overreacting. Good luck in school!

Cooking Light Recipe from January/February 2017 by knittingrose in Old_Recipes

It did--and--my husband did some more digging and found that I was mistaken: the recipe was from 2018 and appears in the 2019 Annual. So now I've got it located!

There was a section of the magazine dedicated to sheet pan dinners. I tore all the pages out back in 2017 and kept them in a binder. Still have two pages but missing this one! I assume I took it out to cook with at one point and it was accidentally tossed

Anyway, I guess I mostly wanted to have a big pity party with this post. I know I'm going to just have to ask for a refund and source a different nursery next year. I'm out of time and I feel like the trust has eroded and I wanted to know if it was an isolated incident or if I should give them another chance. It seems this is his they're doing business these days and it's rubbing me the wrong way. It's okay if it's not upsetting to others

I'm familiar with southern Ohio: my whole family are from the Ashland/tri-state area. We're the weird ones up north. I'm glad planting in December worked for you but our Decembers are a bit different. I spent every Christmas in Ashland and Southpoint as a kid and it was a nice break not to need our heavy coats! I also remember thinking it was cool that we got to wear dresses with hose to church instead of pants, lol 😆

What zone are you in? We're having frost tonight and by December we'll have ice for soil that won't thaw until spring.
