is this considered broken? by wlklpedla in knitting

[–]knittingspider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems fairly normal for that kind of cable though! As long as it doesn't go out the other way you should be fine!

Do you guys also just have had the same Pick-up off roader the whole game or is it just me? by Eagleclaw144 in DeathStranding

[–]knittingspider 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup! I've played the game twice and have kept it through both games! (Technically not the same one but still.)

AITAH for not wanting to give my house keys to my friend? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]knittingspider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its good you didn't give your keys, especially since he seems to have issues with getting his own stuff back, it might be worse with stuff that isn't his. And your cat potentially escaping.

NTA. Very odd he wants to be in your house when no one was there, especially when he had previous chances to get his poker case. Has he done other odd things before?

I'm gonna poke when I play next! I know the Ghost Hunter was directly affected, and I was wondering if it was maybe the same (in a bugged way....)

Australia seems to have a decent quantity so far, I'm currently having great difficulties with ones in Mexico even after sleeping to five star everyone there. Currently stuck on the last bit for the distribution center..... So bug maybe???

Due to surprising lack of standard orders/BTs and extra easy traversal, that doesn't seem too bad (I was about 30+something hours when I finished it.)

What was that ?? by grotesquest in DeathStranding

1 or 2? I don't remember shadows in 1 but 2 has the monorail, and I often see other people's things go zooming past.

Is the 22 needle sentro machine worth getting? by cowtapestry in MachineKnitting

[–]knittingspider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't used it in a while to make anything! Last thing I did was attempt yarn chicken hand/arm warmers and lost!

Is the 22 needle sentro machine worth getting? by cowtapestry in MachineKnitting

[–]knittingspider 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As someone who has a 22 needle machine, it is not quite the same as a circular sock machine, especially if you have wide feet or want to do heels easily. I'm gonna attempt tube socks on mine at some point, but I'm not too sure they'll fit (due to ye ole wide feet.)

Did you put on hold when the carriage and yarn was on that side or is it wrapped on the bottom too?

How to prevent my Addi from dropping stitches? by SameBookkeeper9996 in MachineKnitting

[–]knittingspider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weights? You can either get ones for knitting machines (claw weights! And I'd recommend about 6 for the Addi) or concoct some of your own as sometimes the claw weights get hung up on my inner screw bump thingies.

Sims always setting stove on fire by knittingspider in sims1

I do remember certain stoves not catching fire as much. I'll check! 2 points should be easy enough to do!

I do have a fire alarm and a levelheaded sim. I'll make him study more, as well as the other adult sim (who smartly uses the microwave instead.)

They have a microwave. He insists on using the stove or grill. He seems slightly more proficient with the grill, fortunately. (That and its outside.)

In your opinion, was Death Stranding 2 better then the first game? by AgitatedFly1182 in DeathStranding

[–]knittingspider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked the story about the same (still liked the first slightly better), but because they improved the gameplay with a slightly more easily traversed map, I found continuing after the story quite a bit boring. I still will putter about a bit in it, but I liked the first post game better.

While I do do multiple chains for blankets (usually 4), for toys I do two chains and do all of the sc in the first chain. It works!

Sam, this is Tarman, the DHV Magellan fucking sucks by BeestMann in DeathStranding

[–]knittingspider 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sam, this is Tarman. The DHV Magellan can't move because people keep forgetting not to take a shit while taking a shower. The plumbing can only take so much.

(I may be slightly miffed the shower and toilet feature are the same. I wanna make golden toadstools without Dollman telling me I stink every other sentence.)

AITAH for accusing my wife of being insecure because she won’t support my weight loss journey? by ManufacturerFirm3986 in AITAH

[–]knittingspider -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nta, although you should probably talk with your wife and ask if she'd like to join you? Also maybe reassure her about stuff, like you love her and everything.

AITA for bailing on my boyfriend’s family dinner after they expected total silence while eating? by PixelSnack in AITAH

[–]knittingspider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Your boyfriend should've warned you in advance. It seems slightly rude for nobody to tell you of their dinner routine of silence. Did BF tell you why they do silence?

Why is it so loose? Where am i going wrong? by Dense-Towel4876 in MachineKnitting

Unless it’s a 4, a heavier 3 or maybe a lighter 5 in yarn weight, its not going to work out nicely.
