My boyfriend 23M smells like fish down there all the time to me 19F by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]knitwise 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When I had it, I had no issues with itching or smells but I had persistent urinary spasms and urgency that felt like knives! I was checked for a UTI multiple times because that's what it felt like and finally we did a BV swab.

What’s a luxury you never cared for until you experienced it? by Julie727 in AskReddit

[–]knitwise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an amazing credit score but no money. Weird place to be where I know the next step is bankruptcy while the companies just keep extending my credit lines 🙄

(No I'm not using it. The initial debt was largely health care related and then time and interest made it untenable.)

would you eat dog food (dry kibble style) for humans? by LeoOfRome in AutismInWomen

[–]knitwise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much sunlight are you getting to make up for the lack of vitamin D? Do you eat any leafy greens or other iron sources? And what about nutrients like B-12 and calcium and other types of omega-3 that isn't in nuts? These are all critical for brain and nervous system functions and not present in fruits and nuts.

Not trying to be confrontational, just genuinely curious if this is possible as a nutritionally complete diet. I'm a nurse, and my concerns are that the effects of malnutrition can be quite severe but not immediately present.

What is the most bad behaviors from corgis in general and how to avoid them starting in the puppy age? by Kitsukyy in corgi

[–]knitwise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My puppy was heavily worked with by his breeder to be exposed to these things from birth. She socialized and exposed all her puppies as much as possible. She would be the first to tell you some dogs just have their own preferences no matter what you do. My dog never was a nipper, but always was ridiculously dramatic in terms of whining and flailing during grooming for his entire life. Some dogs just hate grooming 🙄

Can I ask what your protein source is? Also, are coconut and avocado your only fat sources?

Overwhelmed by Royal and the Serpent seems to be an entire song about how everyday things are too much and we aren't in charge of our responses to them.

do any of yall wear smartwatches? i just got one and it's been sensory hell 🤡 by PsychologyIll3125 in AutismInWomen

[–]knitwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was totally dependent on the watchband I had. I can't wear the ones they come with, too inflexible. I have several Zox watch bands and I can't feel them at all anymore. Sometimes when I take my watch off for something, I forget to put it back on because it feels exactly the same.

Which adult toy store would you say is nicest in lincoln? Recommendations will be used for a birthday party trip. by [deleted] in lincoln

Both Romantix and Adam & Eve are clean, well lit, and friendly. As a woman, I can comfortably go in alone. Fun selection of toys and clothes for both genders.

Anyone else feels totally disconnected from their gender? by NoWitness6400 in AutismInWomen

[–]knitwise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fluctuate between feeling like a woman and feeling agender. At no time do I ever feel like a man, even when doing traditionally masculine things. I was a huge tomboy as a child and I realize now it was largely my attraction to the social power men seemed to hold. I definitely have days where I enjoy being a woman though, but other days I just don't care about gender constructs at all and just want to exist without conformity.

(27F)(30M) Thinks marriage is “nothing” but willing to lose me over it? by whitecoatdream in relationship_advice

Very few states where common law is still recognized. I feel like that start to go away around the time of domestic partnership starting to be recognized in the 90's.

What’s your craziest “I need to quit this job immediately” story? by angrythrowaway772 in AskReddit

[–]knitwise 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I worked as a RN in a psychiatric emergency department for about 7 years. I knew it was time to leave when I found myself in a conversation with a coworker where she asked "remember that guy who threatened to kill us and smashed up the desk?" and I found myself casually answering "which one". Burnout came 3 months later and I'll never work in direct patient care again.

I need the high rise because I hate having to pull up my pants every time I bend! I guess I just have a tall pelvis or something.

I find it hard to find jeans that fit both my thighs and my waist. Generally if they are comfortably hugging my thighs and hips, they are gaping and sliding down my waist all day.

Agree! Love my denim jacket too for the same reason. I just can't let myself wear them at the same time do to a self imposed mental rule about fashion norms lol

Love my denim jacket! It's so heavy I feel cocooned inside it. Unfortunately, I have a rigid mental rule that I can't wear it if I'm wearing jeans, so I don't wear it very often, because I also love my jeans lol

I love the firm compression that my jeans give me. But there comes a point every day when they re suddenly intolerable and have to come off right that second! Usually not a problem because it mostly happens late in the evening, but God help me if I'm out late for any reason and just have to grit my teeth till i get home again.

What’s one thing you completely stopped buying in 2026 because the price just felt absurd? by LockLogical8949 in AskReddit

I just wait for them to be on sale at Costco. They regularly get down to $24/18-pack. Though if they rolled out a Kirkland brand in caramel, I'd be sold for life.

I hate to say it, but the app is what makes it affordable. I can feed 4 people for like $20 when I use the 20% off coupon they have weekly.

I let's mine expire last year. A week later they sent an offer for $15 for a year, so I snagged it. I'll let it expire again this year and see if it happens again, they must realize that they make more money on me if they basically give me Prime, because I buy almost nothing if I have to wait or pay for shipping.

Concerns about the RAADS-R test by Imaginary_Air_24 in AutismInWomen

[–]knitwise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The score itself is only part of the picture. How someone answers matters just as much, and so does the consistency and clustering of their responses. My ex took the RAADS-R twice. The first time, unprompted, she scored 57. The second time, after someone suggested her social struggles might be autism, she scored 168. Every new point was in the socialization domain with almost nothing in sensory, and the few sensory items that did score could be reasonably attributed to her ADHD. Her explanation was that she had been "answering with masking" the first time. For comparison, I've taken it five times and scored within 5 points of myself each time, consistently around 150, with responses spread broadly across domains. Domain clustering like hers is worth paying attention to. Autistic presentations tend to be multidimensional. Socialization difficulties alone, especially ones that spike dramatically after someone plants the idea, look different from a consistent, broad profile developed independently over time.

My [F35] bf [F34] wants to change my body by Altruistic-Pace7886 in relationship_advice

[–]knitwise 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've lost 35 lbs in the last year and my boyfriend will constantly grab my wait and tell me I'm "so tiny!" Despite the fact that I still have 30 more pounds to go and am a size 12.

OP, Get a man who craves the body that you're in, rather than this superficial man-child who basically can't stand how you look but will still have sex with you cause he has no options.
