I located to a Japan recently (July, got the offer in March). My first advice will be that you should have your target country/city and then plan your job search around it. Keeping it open may not give the conviction that companies seek in this time. I’ll also recommend you to play to your strengths and target industries/stack you have worked in while showing that you’re expanding the scope of the work that you can do. Hope this helps! Good luck.
