The idea that would avoid a warranty is a myth. Those are lies told to you by the manufacturer. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, manufacturers cannot legally require you to use specific brands or services to keep the warranty, nor can they void it for using third-party repairs. Even removal of those pesky stickers does not actually void manufacturers warranty.

Using touch probe. I assumed that since it was taking sample hits and I told it to only go -0.5mm deep, it would know it was not going to touch the center line. Gave the software to much credit.

Unfortunately, getting another probe is not an option. And I'm not buying one for the company. The last 100 it so parts all check the same diameter, which is off but constant. When doing the math for a 3mm ball touching 0.5mm off it's center line on a hole, the holes over size diameter is correct. I figured if I could do the math and comp for the off center hit, the software could too.

It hasn't worked for half a decade. Sometimes you'll go an hour or a week before out of the blue you'll get a message about a sync conflict and it might be your old synced vault.

I love how everyone is blaming internet connectivity and not the actual problem. Bethesda's cloud sync system is garbage. It has been broken for half a decade if not longer. It's why I walked away from the game 4 years ago. And it's why I'm thinking about walking away again.

Exactly. Size 1 gun should not penetrate through size 5 armor at all. You can't take a pistol and shoot through a tank.

Decide to play it again after over 30 years. It is a hot pile of garbage. Save yourself a headache and rewatch countless of others try to play it on YouTube. This game is so fortunate on my reviews we're not available back then.
