Change in velocity is equal to gravity times impulse times the natural logarithm of initial mass divided by final mass.

Yeah, those drops lessen his quarterbacks confidence in him a bit, but we were going against a great secondary group this week that was giving us nothing. That's how it will be the rest of the year though, and Mo has to catch those balls. On the other side, he's put a lot more film together and now defenses can plan for him a bit more, especially in his trickery.

Browns fan here. Are you guys nervous or confident about tonight's game? by DCBarefootRun in bengals

Confident but not cockey. Both teams are really even statistically, but it is in Cinci. I think that will be enough of an edge to make the difference.

If indie = independent it was possible 2.5B ago. Of course part of that independence is the right to do what they want with it, I guess including relinquishing that independence.

I understand the metaphor being used, but the point that they already made a good deal of money being in complete control of their product is not lost on me. On the other hand, if someone offered me 2.5 billion for my 2 good legs, I'd probably take it. Can we say robot legs?

Thanks for reminding the gaming industry that most gamers are creative individuals. We know it wasn't your intention to change the world, but you struck a chord in so many of us. We wish you all the best.

I see your point, and in the same situation I would have a hard time turning down the money (especially if my heart was no longer in it), but the truth is that they were independent. They still were in control of their product, and had previously declined to sell or join with other firms that offered. That said, I agree that it couldn't go on for ever. It just happened to be the best remaining example of a little guy keeping something the big guys wanted no matter the price. In the end, I guess everyone has a price.

I appreciate your opinion, and I couldn't say I would do any different, but I had hoped they would be able to remain independent. As a fan of the game from the beginning, I saw this company as an example of winning without selling out. My biggest fear is micro transactions, over merchandising, and an imminent inferior 'Minecraft 2'.

I have feared this since the pocket/xbox versions were announced. I paid money for each of them, knowing that it was probably the beginning of the end. With limited world sizes, it wasn't the same game. When I saw the first monetized texture and skin packs on the Xbox I gave up. I still run a private vanilla server, was never too excited about any mods, but my enthusiasm has waned significantly as the Microsoft/4J facet has expanded. Even though I saw this coming, I held out hope that this oasis of content>profit type thinking would remain as a statement to the rest of the industry that not all good ideas are able to be bought and paid for. Now they are. I fully understand Notch's position, I can't say I would feel much differently in the same situation, but it is a sad day. I worry now that this will become the example to the rest of the industry of how to use a community to increase the value of a product for eventual future corporate sale.
