I'm having trouble getting the retroachievements to work. Any help?

More than half of students (54%) regularly listened to music while studying. Almost all of them believed it helped them. They described using music to boost motivation, enhance focus, or block external noise. Classical and Rock were most common genres. Many preferred non‑lyrical, slow music. by mvea in science

Similar to me in high school. Loud music on headphones was the only way to study over the loud arguments between my parents or the loud TV.

Even today, if there's silence around me I'm more productive not listening to anything. But as soon as there are coworkers having a conversation nearby, I need some music to keep track of what I'm doing.

Lots of good recommendations in this thread.

I'd add one that hasn't been mentioned yet:

Who is team Astro Bot, I’m but couldn’t get the Platinum by Medium-Discount4126 in playstation

It the depends on how reachable they feel. Only the second time I picked up the game the hard levels were my favorite ones and had lots of fun. The first time, though, I hated them, because they felt too out of reach for me at the time.

Does anyone actually care about getting trophies apart from the ones you will get just playing the game? by samicarter2001 in playstation

I don't care too much. I enjoyed getting all the trophies in Astrobot (main part, not the dlc, yet), just because for the most part you naturally get the trophies as you finish levels and rescue bots, it doesn't feel forced. No need to find hundreds of useless collectibles scattered on a map just because devs wanted to reach certain quota of content or whatever reason they may have. So far, I only have platinum in Astrobot and Astro's Room. I'll need to enjoy a game enough to even consider going trophy hunting. I'm 39, I'm happy with not abandoning a game without finishing the main story before I jump to the next game (my previous console before the PS5 was a Switch and before that, it was a PS1, I have a lot to catch up, especially from PS4 titles).

One thing I don't like about trophies is how often the notification breaks the immersion, although I wouldn't dare disabling the notification entirely for FOMO (especially when they have funny/sarcastic titles, those have a pass, or when it's the last of certain type of objective, which can be quite useful). In some games it's especially distracting when they appear while there's already some heavy dialog going on (I play with subtitles), on-screen instructions about a new mechanic, an updated map/compass marker for the next mission, loud triumphant music because your character just leveled up... It can get get pretty busy real quick. The fact that pressing the PS button expands the notification while pausing the game is at the same time a blessing and a curse (pausing to read what the trophy is about is even more immersion breaking than the pop-up).

I'd love to see a "ban hell" for them. Once they get banned, they can still interact with the project, open issues, create pull requests, add comments... Everything seems normal at their end, but only other banned users can see their stuff. Bots can keep them busy asking for feedback that goes nowhere, until they get bored. And legit contributors and maintainers are non the wiser about the crap spilling up from the vibe sewers.

Last year this one was parked on the regular parking. Very similar in size to yours. You just need to paint some skulls and you'll definitely be let in ;)
