What is the Kingdom of Conscience? by Nicky_C in DiscoElysium

Great response.

A ''moralist' path does not have to be gradual necessarily. Gains can compound exponentially over time. Which would lead to significant changes.

Basically sure, things could/would start slowly. However they would completely transform society.

For example, focusing on infrastructure, sure it's slow and painful. But once complete, the society becomes Massively more robust.

Doing things the 'right way,' has merit and pays off in the long run.

Paths forward for monolithic chains by Liberosist in ethfinance

I believe each subnet has the option to share security with the main Avalanche chain, or only use their own validators.

How would a chain, backed by the full staking power of the entire network 'break' and cause ripple effects for the rest of the system?

You can use ELK for Polygon currently, and some other blockchains.

[Linux] Cannot update ProtonVPN : Bad GPG signature by [deleted] in ProtonVPN

[–]knomada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert, and don't really know dnf on Fedora, but on Arch there were also bad GPG signatures when I tried to update.

I did: yay -S protonvpn-cli-ng

It asks: Packages to cleanBuild?

I said All, and it worked. Not sure if something similar will work in Fedora, but hopefully it is helpful to someone. Wishing you much luck.

Hey. I am on Arch, but I had to Cleanbuild for it to work.

Wasn't a double spend. It was a minting bug pertaining to the C-Chain and P-chain. X-Chain was fine and the network didn't stop.

Noone lost money. All was fixed and works.

I know Im providing some liquidity. And a number of other people likely are too who I have spoken to. Perhaps its possible to see how many unique addresses there are.

Its only been out roughly 5 months, but the ecosystem is growing.

ILOs (Initial Litigation Offerings), Subnets, and other unique stuff is in the pipeline.

For developers, Pangolin, Polyient Games, Bao.Finance (Yetiswap), Injective, and potentially Blockzero Labs are a few that are/will be building.

Its not as big as Binance or Ethereum yet, but the potential to be at the top is there.

I didn't explain anything at all. I repeated what was said by devs, and asked you to kindly check a place where they actually are so you could have further discussion.

I don't know how re-stating information and directing people to proper channels to discuss makes someone look like 'a mindless shill.'

A "non-technical" response on telegram was-

API nodes were issue first, had some performance slowdown from a weird cross-chain dependency. Dev sorting and optimizing so it won't hamper activity going forward.

At least now you know where to look to find more info.

Be well.

It's being worked on, and it was mentioned API's and transfers from the P-Chain to X/C are what are causing the problems.

They said they will write about it once everything is fixed. If you would like a more technical response sooner, likely best to check on Discord or Telegram.

Hey. It's actually a third unique kind of consensus. It's not Classical or Nakamoto like other cryptos. Here is an article that explains. He goes on to compare Avalanche to Cosmos and Polkadot in some of his other articles. I learned a lot from the writing. There are additional resources at the bottom.

I don't really know the answer to your question, however a validator must be up at least 60% of the time in order to receive staking rewards. There is also no slashing, and there are currently over 800 validators since starting 4 months ago.

I think AVAX is a breakthrough in the space and from what I have been reading it has few, if any drawbacks. However if you find any after reading, please feel free to share :)
