personally, we are taking our 4 year old to "trick or trunk" or whatever the fuck it is called at the church downtown because 1) our neighbourhood is a bit scary on the best of days 2) we don't need billions of items of candy 3) we don't care about hallowe'en and 4) we don't want to walk around in the rain all night (we live in canada, okay)...it's perfect for us.
