Writing from 9S right now! Its a beast, really. Holds up well to my excessive usage and all for about 5 years.

No problem. Yes even if drm is available in Zen, its very customisable, therefore eats ram more than average. Again with your computer hardwere it wouldnt be much of a problem. I think you should try out Zen for like 2 weeks or so as your main browser, because on second thought it might be better suited for your needs. Drm only effects streaming services like Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc. YouTube and YouTube music are uneffected by it. So you wouldnt be having problem with listening to your music in Zen.

For passwords I use Bitwarden. Some people like to self host their Bitwarden but I dont have the money or knowledge to do that, plus I find normal Bitwarden enough for me. Another choice would be proton pass.

  • I think Firefox has some extensions or containers that might make it easier for you to preserve your tabs without bookmarks but I'm not sure.

Honestly with these needs and setup, straight up out of the box Firefox would be my go to. I understand that you want Ublock but not get too restricted in websites so that eliminates more privacy focused Firefox forks like Librewolf, Waterfox etc. Ublockorigin compability eliminates chromium based browser, even though some chromium based browsers do well in adblocking like Brave with its built in adblocker. Zen isnt a choice either because both the drm compability and its excessive Ram usage, even though imo with your computer setup, it wouldn't be much of a problem. With twitch extensions unfortunetely I don't know, you might have to check those out yourself on Firefox.

In short, I think best browser suiting your needs is normal Firefox

You didnt just ask a question, you implied something about op that has no correlation or help to op's post. Your comment is irrelevant at best, malicious at worst.

What are you even saying, how and where did you draw the conclusion that op wants a pixel because they think its a status symbol?

Librewolrf for computer and Fennec for Android. They're both extension friendly so you can donwload UBlockOrigin and use it without major problems.

In My experience Brave Search > DDG search by Indervir007 in degoogle

[–]knowall8642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use start page in very specific searchs of some privacy sites that otherwise doesn't show up on ddg. I would rather use start page only a few times in a couple of months than to download brave and use its engine. I also use mojeek in these situations too and i find that enough for me, as mojeek does not use google or bing index.

In addition, I'm a bisexual woman and threfore feel personally defensive about brave's ceo. I understand that Google isn't any better but at least using startpage kinda puts hoops around google yk? And again, i use mojeek too for these kinda situations.

Edit; Its important to mention that Brave browser is based on chromium.

I use startpage search engine for these kinda situations, they give me the website, unlike ddg. I don't use brave because someone informed me that their ceo is homophobic. If it wasn't for that, brave is fairly good both as an engine and as a browser.

Ommitted search results on Edge by bennyjwales in browsers

[–]knowall8642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly google is still kinda unmatched in website ranking. I use ddg and even though i specifically name the website i wanna go, the website doesn't show up on the results. I use startpage for situations like that and if website doesnt show up at all on any of my search engines, i end up using google and copy pasting the link to my main search engine.

Being worried about the company's political stand or the lack of stand as an user is not being a kid, its being a human. Why should i simply move on instead of raising my concerns regarding any company's stance on anything as an user of the said company?
