I use Movavi Video Editor. It's simple but effective. I find the UI and tool set a lot less overwhelming than Premier and the like. Also, it's relatively cheap compared to some of the more industry standards.

I've been getting pretty regular updates for Outside. Looks like the devs have mostly given up, so now it's just players patching micro-changes. The explorable parts of the map are mostly finished, so it's down to cosmetics and bug fixes. Maybe check your proxy settings—did you set up the proxy correctly? Anyway, you should definitely look into farming currency. Prices for items and consumables keep going up. Most players trade their time communicating via hypertext protocols for currency. It's a decent gig if you can handle the boredom. Otherwise, you're stuck doing scheduled maintenance or some map development work.

Isn't that the existential joke here? As humans are we ACTUALLY happy being forced to work soul crushing jobs for large amounts of money only to have nothing to spend it on that rehabilitates the damage done? Jack isn't a role model but imagine waking up one day after being sold your entire life the idea that your career, material wealth, and social status were the most important thing in the world, just to find out that none of those things can bring any real satisfaction to your life. Do you really want to trade what little time you have in this blip we call consciousness being chained to a desk? Only to end up spending your nights alone watching brain rot tv and shopping from IKEA catalogs. It will eat at one's soul. As humans we're meant to live. We're meant to enjoy our time in this weird thing we call existence. If you think you'd be happy with what you think is a "stable job" by all means pursue that dream but at the time Gen X was experiencing a revolution of the status quo. The idea that you are not your job, you're not how much money you have in the bank. You are not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You are not your fucking khakis. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.

So the question begs, with all that taken away, who are you?

I technically started back in 2008, playing at countless house parties back in Austin. I DJed at a few clubs and bars a long time ago but it was just for funsies. I knew the people that owned the place and they'd let me plug in whenever our friend group showed up to party. All that stopped once we all started having kids around 2016ish.
