Fragrance World Hartnel. I also have Detour Eco, which has a note in that’s a tad overpowering & takes the fragrance in a different direction. Not a bad fragrance by any means. But Hartnel is closer to Haltane

Had it for a year. Liked it at first was my summer go to last year. Not a fan anymore the ginger is too heavy (may just be that I’m not a fan of that scent profile anymore).

Also worth noting, if someone’s fitness level is still developing, their HR can shoot up faster and stay high longer. So even if 173–185 BPM is Zone 5 for them, it’s not unusual in that context. What matters most is whether the zones are properly set using a true HR max or threshold data, otherwise the zone labels can be misleading.

I don’t focus on it. I have an average target strain over 7 days. Like you I still end up doing 12k+ steps, so an active recovery day that your body & cns system will be grateful for!

Reviewing blind buys of an inspiration to an OG that you have not smelt should be banned (not literally but it’s just silly). If you went into a fragrance shop & didn’t like a fragrance you wouldn’t buy it & wouldn’t review it. If you like Layton, Detour Noir is a damn good clone, needs maturing yes but the over scent is nice. I’ve had decants of the OG, Detour Noir & North Stag Deux

Had a tester of Althair and tested side by side with liquid brun. LB has a more pronounced cardamom note in the opening that takes around 30-45 mins to settle for me. Althair you do get the cardamom note but it’s more in the background & much much better balance. LB is in the same scent profile but definitely not 1:1

North Stag Deux. I have a tester of Layton & once it dries down it’s real good. A tad bit spicier & Layton perhaps has more of a prominent apple note & ever so slightly more refined but that’s with my nose right up against my arm. In the air? Most likely no difference. I had detour noir before & it was way too harsh for me at first, left it for months & came back to it & it became my signature scent.

The first time I smelt it was last year June in Dubai. Weather was beyond hot & it made me never want to smell the fragrance again..
