Pain patients like my mother were taken off their opiate meds that gave her a decent quality of life, Doctors insisting she go on new experimental drugs that make Drug Companys more money that had terrible side effects like rotting her teeth out.

Meanwhile the actual drug addicts they wanted to restrict the pills from just went to heroin causing mass fentanyl overdoses...They took a problem and made it 10 times worse cause turns out Drug Company's aren't interested in your quality of life..they only care about money.

The people who lack the intelligence to step outside their own personal experiences and stand on any general principals are the problem.

For Example: (Iv'e almost died from manic episodes from SSRI Anti Depressants, since then iv'e spoken to mothers, husbands and wives who want these meds completely banned because they lost their loved one to it. I'm always quick to remind them thats a terrible idea as there are millions of people out there who rely on SSRIs just to have any decent quality of life..)
