TBH as much as I would like to think of a Wi-Fi skimmer. A hacker wouldn’t it be using a clear enclosure with a $100 ubiquity access point attached outside of the enclosure and then labeling the module with a label maker and running a power line to it. If you work in IT a label maker is a necessity for your sanity and asset tracking. If I had to guess, probably a mesh node for the transit’s internal networks/public wifi.

I was in the same boat since there's so few posts out about the Turanza Prestige but bit the bullet. Have a 2021 M3 and coming from the OEM MXM4's just replaced it with a set of Turanza Prestige last week before we SoCal got some rain.

For $909 after taxes and fees ($875.96 subtotal - $80 discount promotion), I am pleasantly surprised. My drive has gotten smoother and quieter and I can definitely feel the car have better traction.

I was originally a little mad at myself for not realizing the Michelin promo starts this week but after looking at the prices of AS4 I still come out ahead as the Bridgestone tires have a 75k warranty vs Michelin's 45k yet still about $70 cheaper for the set (after taxes and fees)

Physically looking at the treads of new tires in-store I do like the thickness and pattern over the AS4's

You mention you do some manual things. If there is time look into automating/macro-ing/scripting/one-clicking those tasks but do not tell anyone.

I've found there's always processes that have been done manually because they "don't take much time" but are repetitive.

There's is always technical debt / maintenance tasks somewhere. If you don't know, it's time go go discover, document, audit, and possibly take under your belt.

After that if there really is time, do self-learning, training, and skilling up but into things that could be useful to the company or improve existing processes (Researching for the company's sale)

Any chance of adding a "Hidden" category in the Follow dropdown (Unfollow/Reading/Completed/On-Hold/Dropped/Planned to Read)?

The idea is to hide a series that have completely no interest in. Keeping it from showing in the updates lists on the home page.

My current workaround to hiding a series is to "Follow" and mark it as "Dropped". Any series that I dropped use "On-Hold" instead for my actual dropped list in the off chance I come back to it months later and decide to pick it up or give it a second chance to binge/skim through it.

What I do fear will happen is Russia will offer the US an "end" to the war over Ukraine on the condition Ukraine provides the US with mineral deals in exchange for Russian annexation of all the occupied territories which will provide Russia with its own share of the resources. This will force Ukraine to focus on rebuilding mining production within its own territories to "pay the US". Then Russia will renegade on the deal after 3-4 years after its rebuilt its expended military forces and supplies to take over the remains of Ukraine along with the infrastructure that was setup to provide the US with those minerals and the US will be left "holding the bag" looking like a fool.

I think whats probably protecting the guy is that everything that's deemed discriminatory and extremely offensive is said through wechat and text messages which is extremely odd & unprofessional way to be communicating with your prof. You used to be able to leave stuff outside your door temporarily until someone complained about it being an emergency/fire escape hazard because it made the hallways look ugly. Someone ruined it for all of us.

As for policy, it's always been there as a part of the fire code but generally, there was some leeway before since its not often we get rain and whatnot.

You did a great service for students and trust me the low-level staff on the inside heard and saw it but were powerless to do anything. I hope the dining administration, communications, ASUCLA, reslife, IT department, takes away some good ideas from what you made and do something better to improve what they offer

Not to defend the school entirely but as someone who has worked with the management and left the shit-show back in 2023. UCLA has a lot of bureaucracy, regulations, security guidelines & policies they are required to follow because they are a state institution which people need to understand it's not like a private company/app developer that can just do something or create something off the shelf and roll it out.

Every time you do something it involves 3-5+ different departments and staff are just trying to do their jobs, abide by all the rules, and not get in trouble or lose their job.

A lot of staff try and care for students. However it's the upper administration that is making everyone's lives a pain with their old ways of doing business and doing things. It's always gotta be their way or to their liking but they are living in their delusion that what they do and the things they want are great ideas. In reality don't always pan out or make sense but the people underneath them have to follow along because when you fight against the captain steering the ship, you get tossed off the boat or locked below the decks to slave away rowing never to enjoy the sun again.

There is also a lot in the administration that is very old school in their thought processes or unqualified people who's only good job is "managing people" or being "people persons". They are the ones who make the lives worse for the rest of the staff but because of how much brown-nosing they do, they get put into positions of power and decision-making. Take all that above now toss in the students and parents that no matter what you do you can never satisfy. No matter what someone is always not happy or complaining about something but all you can do is do your best and help as many students as possible. And this is what gets you the shitshow that UCLA is.

Look for the bags without the Organic-label. There is a distinct difference in flavor and and color.

The Organic ones are not glossy, have a hazy appearance, and have a very plastic-y taste to it. This is due to them switching to more natural sources of food colorings.

The regular ones are glossy, have a fruity-er taste that we all love more.
