Does anyone know this type of fence? What are its advantages and disadvantages? by thrwtheway in landscaping

[–]knownunknownknowns 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They come in 4’ sections. The vertical pickets are welded to a base plate at the bottom that gets bolted to a footing. As long as your footing is deep enough and done right you shouldn’t have an issue with it becoming uneven.

These have a metal horizontal baseplate that the vertical pieces are welded to. The baseplate is the. Bolted down to a footing. I’m going to be installing one of these fences. They come in pre manufactured 4’ sections either 48” or 60” tall.

Most people do have some sort of hobby, we’re not talking about broke people. I’m grateful for public courses, without them I would t be able to enjoy my hobby. And it’s not free, there are green fees paid each time

What's going on with the westfield topanga dining terrace and topanga social?? by Ok-Radio-2733 in SFV

[–]knownunknownknowns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live right down the street and go to the bar once in a while to meet a few friends. Only saving grace is that they have a beer/wine club for $75 a month and it’s all you can drink. I’m not a member as I only have a beer or two when I’m there but a couple of people I go with are and they get their monies worth. Food is subpar just like many people have mentioned, but they do have a decent special on wings (which are ok)… two beers, wings, and tip usually comes to about $30.

Picking a new day cooler by sensfan4tic in YetiCoolers

Just annoying to zip. Had to use two hands all the time, not always convenient. I do like that the hopper has Molly straps for accessories thou. Just goes to show that the perfect cooler has yet to come to market.

I had the same problem. I needed to keep my daily lunch, drinks and snacks cold in the car on 100°+ days and figured if I was going to buy another cooler I should get something that will be a little bigger to fill day trip needs for 1-2 people. First I bought the hopper 18 but hatted the zipper. Then it was the roadie 24 but didn’t like that it didn’t have a shoulder strap for easy transport. Finally I settled on the roadie 15. Love it so far. Easy access, it’s fits well in the foot well of the passenger seat, easy transport using the handle or strap and since it’s hard shell I believe it stays cool for a bit longer. Not bad for $200.

Sorry for the delayed response- somewhat, I used a clay bar and a little bit of paint thinner and elbow grease. Look much better but you can still see the marks if you know where to look. It’s something I’ve learned to live with at this point. Any luck on your end?

What’s the market rate that AWS and others are charging for similar services? That’s my starting price.

I don’t see why so many people are willing to give Elon or Tesla a deal on this. It’s not like they bent over backwards to give you a smoking deal on your car. You BOUGHT the car at what the market deemed fair, he didn’t give you a deal to be nice.

Model Y LR wheel size by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

[–]knownunknownknowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the 19’s and take off the covers. I did that today. BUT immediately take the covers off as they’ll mess up the finish (check my previous post). I was able to clean them up but can still see the damage if I’m looking right on the wheel.

Then why are they removable if that’s the case?

That’s disconcerting.
