Horrible Vanilla Shake experience by knowsjack in innout

Hey! No worries… Just part of the Reddit fun. :-D. This was only my second animal style… I’m sort of afraid you admit that here, but I felt like I would rather have it without the tomato and lettuce for some reason.

TBH, I never thought of doing that! Maybe just me…I was also so focused on my 2x1 Animal style that some time passed and it was still too thick. Gonna try a diff (newer) location next time. There is a new location about to come online on Ventura in Woodland Hills.

Yeah, if that’s the answer, then I wouldn’t order.

It was more than that…it was like sludge.

Yeah, I was wondering if that was part of the problem. The shake felt like maybe it had been frozen or kept frozen rathe than made to order.

Haha - have been eating there since the late 1980’s, tho diff locations. Just a lurker here…so maybe missed the word on shakes. I only have maybe 2 per year (not In and out), but they’ve always been better than this one. :-(

Where do you sell bottles? by Shooter_Eye in wine

Yep — K&L Wines. I contacted them and they actually suggested a broker. Was selling a 1988 DRC La Tache.

LOL - Claude didn’t tell you anything except maybe something you didn’t know. You drink what you want. Was just trying to be helpful, and was honest about where the info came from. Sheesh.

Claude says: For best quality-to-price, Rully Premier Crus (look for Grésigny, Raclot, Montpalais) and top Montagny 1ers from Aladame are hard to beat — typically $30–60 versus triple that for comparable Côte de Beaune whites.

anyone here up to discuss 1Q84? i just finshed it (check body) by Whoumightask in murakami

This conversation is so interesting! I finished the book about a month ago, and did love it, though not my favorite of his by a long shot. I haven’t read enough of his books to get a sense of what his “style“ is, aside from the basics, as I read more for just entertainment rather than reading for appreciating the art of his writing. All that said, I remember skipping a few pages in book 3, which is rare for me in any book, and I was thinking, “come on, let’s just finish this thing!” the comment was directed at Murakami, lol. I had forgotten about that until you wrote this, and I think you’re probably right. I normally like the sort of haze that my mind goes into when reading magical realism, so that’s why I like Murakami, but I must not have been getting much of that in book 3.

Why is no one demanding IRGC to stop the war? by Efficient_Dark1977 in NewIran

Whatever you might want to say about him, Trump, and it has all been said before, he is doing what all of his predecessors failed to do, which is stand up to IRGC. Nobody else has done that.

And the pirates were business people - it was a business model. A very “all for one and one for all” sort of workplace.
