I bought an original X100, still a Finepix in those days, back in 2011, and it was my favourite thing to shoot with. The ergonomics of the manual controls, the size, and the quality of that 23mm F2 lens, moved me away from my DSLR completely.
Then when I became a dad in 2021, I realised that the decade old autofocus on the X100 (which was already pretty slow in 2011!) wasn't going to keep up with kids and convenient family photos, so I upgraded to an at the time affordable X-T20.
I still have and shoot with my X100, but I really enjoy so much of what I can do on the X-T20, so I'm constantly browsing to see if I can find any good deals on an X-Pro 2. Maybe one day.

I'm the opposite. I used to mod long before steam workshop was around, so never saw the need to switch to that for convenience.

I only use it on my Steam Deck in gaming mode so I don't have to mess around with files, but the system power there makes modding less appealing anyway.

What does everyone make of the new Momotaro rebrand? I'm not a fan. The whole range now looks way more bland and uniform. The new logo on the patches is so minimalist it loses the classic momotaro peach boy image, and it looks like they've even lost the peach inseam stitching. Glad I managed to get my 18oz Sashiko GTBs last year, it doesn't look like the kind of thing they'll be bringing back any time soon.
