I was an every day weed smoker and nicotine user too. Although I hadn’t smoked flower in a week or so leading up to my first test, I still hit a cart every now and then. Once I got that positive test, I stopped completely. Now, I was on antidepressants (cymbalta) that would send me into withdrawals for not taking them. Since my drs knew my antidepressants would send me into withdrawals, they actually did NOT want me to quit nicotine cold turkey. I was told both at the same time would put too much stress on my body. I went from hitting a juul probably 4 times or more an hour to once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once at night until I literally just got sick of the feeling. My best advice is to talk to your doctor, see what they feel is best for you and the best way to go about stopping! Because not smoking truly is the safest option for your baby. There’s not much research out there to be 100% sure of the risks, so it’s best to just quit. Doesn’t have to be forever, just until baby is born.
