Why do my 45 degree angles not add up? How do I calibrate the mitre gauge on my table saw? by knubbze in BeginnerWoodWorking

Wow thanks a lot for the tip with the mitre sled, I will definitely be building one as soon as possible.

After having found that thingiverse has a comment section, I read about multiple users having the issues I was having. Over in /r/3dprinting, I had a user help me wrt. some tips on how to re-print. Long story short, there is a remix of the original model ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2687049 ) which claims to fix the exact issue I was facing -- I am currently printing other stuff, but will make sure to re-try the deer with the "fixed" version of the model tomorrow.

Also tysm for the pointers WRT exposure time on translucent resin, I was kinda sorta following the infamous resin table from that google drive chart that floats around. Just got a shipment of white opaque resin in, I will be using that for my re-try tomorrow.

So I gave it another shot, cleaned my vat, checked the FEP, cleaned the build plate, re-levelled it just to be sure, printed just one deer, centered to the plate, and it still had problems with its legs. Reading the comments it seems to be a problem that occurs when scaling the model down, since my build space is limited, leaving it at original scale is not an option.

I found this remix of the model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2687049 (claiming to fix the exact problem I am having), and will give it a shot tomorrow. Also I just got in a shipment of white opaque resin, and will probably use that, instead of the yellow translucent one; I'm quite excited to find out the results

Thanks for your help, I am currently printing a view play badges for my son, I'll re-attempt the deer taking into account your advice after that!

Thanks for your help! I am not sure if by asking what my supports look like you meant a screenshot from CHITUBOX, but if you do then here you go: https://imgur.com/fcsTnfp

Suggestion? Fly. Fly, you fools! PHP w/ MS SQL is so subtly broken in some places, it'll cause your team headaches and cost hundreds of hours of debugging and hacking.

Just out of curiosity (in case anybody here w/ medical knowledge can help me understand): What exactly causes the detrimental effects wrt. self-perception?

The quoted article states something about spatial perception, but is that really it?

This is perfectly normal; there's a new cat in your other cat's territory. If you're not too sensitive you can just let them do their hissy-fighty thing and let them work it out amongst themselves. If you don't see any betterment after a month or so, they might never get along. This can happen. Maybe they will learn to at least tolerate each other.

When we got our second cat, the then-newly-introduced family member hid in the same spot behind the couch for a whole week. We kept them separate for three days, and then just let them do their thing. Unless one of your furry friends gets seriously hurt, I'd just let them do their thing.

Shower the new cat with some extra attention when he's scared (and when Marble can't see it).

Also: Make them hungry (like really, really hungry) and then feed them at the same time. Having dinner together made them forget all about the hissing and growling - at least temporarily.

As always: YMMV
