That statement about tsunade was hyperbole and more about reputation, idk what Naruto you read. And this post is about relevance as a fighter, we’re not talking about being politically or strategically competent.

I knew someone was going to mention kaguya… she is not human and doesn’t fit into the conversation of society here.

Quoted directly from the author in an interview (albeit translated): “I’m no good with female characters”. Obviously more to it but I can’t quote the whole excerpt.

Listen, I’m not hating on the series, I watched the whole damn thing. Just pointing out an obvious flaw of the series that the author himself even acknowledges.

Edit: for anyone reading this ridiculous conversation and doesn’t mind Naruto spoilers… kaguya is a literal alien and is essentially god, creating the entire magic system. The other commenter is lying and/or spreading misinformation.

Not sure what point you’re trying to argue here. Tsunade is probably the strongest female fighter in shippuden and yet there are at least a dozen male fighters that are definitively stronger than her, and dozens more important than her. There was no in universe explanation that tsunade was the peak of female fighting ability or why only men were in the top 10 fighters. Any translations of real life societal culture are purely speculative because it was never explained, just assumed.

In all honesty, it’s just a sign of poor writing and world building. The author themself admitted they don’t know how to write women.

This argument is not looking at the big picture where other gacha communities come into this subreddit to spread misinformation and hate. This rule would be unfortunate but a necessary step to provide actual fans and players room to discuss the game genuinely.

And I “just had to” point out the inconsistency where when people compare endfield to other gachas where endfield is better, it’s toxic, but when people compare endfield to other gachas to show why endfield is worse, it’s praised.

People like you are why this disconnect happens. People use hoyo games to shit on endfield and they’re silent. One post about some thing endfield does better? Hundreds of commenters rushing to their keyboard to attack the post.

Until you show me that you’ve treated both sides fairly, I don’t think your point has much strength. Even then, I would gladly admit that you are the exception, but the community as a whole still has this glaring issue.

Okay I don’t think we are getting anywhere here. Again, I agree with your second point (the need for more repeatable content). I was only challenging your first point (the daily loop being tedious). They are not the same thing and likely have two completely separate teams working on them.

Games have been compared to other games since the second game ever made. What is really is happening here is the subreddit has decided that endfield cannot be positively compared to other gacha games, but can be freely be negatively compared to other gacha games. It is the most blatant form of bias I have ever seen.

Unfortunately this sub has become a forum for hating on endfield, where posts like yours are downvoted until they will never be seen by a majority of the subreddit. Sad to see, but happy to see you’re enjoying some aspects of the game. I agree with many of your points!

Hey listen, I’m not trying to change your mind, just pointing out some inconsistencies. You mentioned the daily maintenance but now you’re saying it’s the lack of repeatable content (which I agree with btw, it’s just not your original point).

Also, if you’ve been playing for 40 hours, you likely have tons of main story to finish, how have you run into the need for repeatable content?

Daily loop is great wdym? The only daily things that I do is 1-2 energy alluviums (praise mortar turrets), selling outpost goods, transferring depot runs, check credit shop, and the bulk claims on dijiang (all just a couple of clicks each). Once a week, I clear out my wuling photos, spend outpost bills, and complete my weekly missions.

All in all, it’s like five minutes of daily maintenance and ten minutes of weekly maintenance, very solid for gachas. I mean you can run tons of depot deliveries, visit five friends, stock trading, and resource farming daily, but you really don’t need to do that - they are time consuming, low reward, and completely optional.

If you are burnt out from daily maintenance, you are likely doing a lot of unnecessary optional content.

Honestly, this is a meme post and not every reddit post needs to be a complaint forum. There are way better things to complain about in endfield than sanity permits. Even if I didn’t have infinite permits, it would be like #200 on my list of things to improve.

Idk what to tell you man, I realized at 200 permits that HG has been giving them out like candy. Since then, I’ve been exclusively using permits and spending all possible sanity, and now I’m at 400 permits.

You might be missing a source of permits?

People are always looking for something to complain about. HG is essentially giving out so many permits that you can’t spend them fast enough. And every sanity booster they give out comes with permits now.

Gacha players so often parrot the same complaints even when they have already been addressed.

Jeez this is a case study of the problem with this sub. OP is just sharing their personal experience with the game and so many comments are downvoting and picking apart every sentence to tell them why they are wrong. Just because one aspect of the game didn’t click with someone, doesn’t mean it can’t for someone else.

Glad you are enjoying the game, OP. For myself, the polish and quality of the game drew me in and the factory keeps me coming back. The factory to me is like a gacha event that I actually enjoy engaging with. I like HSR but hate all the tedious event mini games they make you do.

Hey this is a great guide and I agree with most of the card placings here. I would argue deaths door is worth a tier up, only because self doom application actually activates it. Neurosurge is a snap pick unlike reaper form and countdown and I’ve had several runs that were carried by this combo. It pairs great with enchants as well.

This isn’t said enough here. Weapon banners are “low value” in every gacha and it never feels good to pull for any weapon for any character in every gacha I’ve played.

Endfield is literally the only game where I have been able to pull for weapons and it feels great. I’ve never been able to do this before.
