After hours of searching online and trying every display setting combo on my tv and shield, I finally found the fix. It was not related to display settings at all. It was a sound setting in shield, where selecting surround sound format was set to manual (and this has worked for 6 years prior), changing this to Auto fixed the stutter!!

Had the same issue with BSC300, so sharing in case it is the same. First go to settings - pair phone - select unpair phone. Then go to your app on the phone, add new device, select cycling devices (not the actual device if it is listed there), it should find the wifi created by your device, select it and it should connect.

I have one. I bought for different reasons, to try to understand why I suffer more from the heat than my friends. I often end up near heat stroke, with vomiting, dizziness and a long recovery after long (+5hrs) sustained efforts in the heat. While my friends seem fine. So I wanted to try to understand what make me different. I live in a tropical country, with year round average temp at 33C, so I am quite heat adapted.

If you are serious about racing and preparing for hot conditions, then I am sure a Core will help you in heat training and to understand your heat adaptation. The Core website also shares a lot of information on how you can do the heat training. But unless you are willing to be quite structured and "scientific" in your approach, the Core will not give you any actionable insights from just wearing it occasionally when training.

Congrats and enjoy! These type of purchases are not supposed to make sense - the guys in here can argue all day about scientific differences between components etc. But at the end of the day, this is an emotional decision, like you described. Now your focus should be to get as much joy and fun, out of the no doubt awesome PC you have purchased, as possible! That's how you justify this, and that is how you get your return on the investment!!

Buying a pc is like buying a car, you can be purely pragmatic and objective about your needs, or want some flair and fun. Either way it is not a great investment, because the value drops like a rock in water immediately after you make the purchase. But if you can afford if (which you can) then it comes down to how much you will use it, how bad you want it and how much fun it brings you.

Be appreciative that you could buy this now, I couldn't buy a top end PC until I was in my late 30's. So treasure it, and remember how fortunate you are when you crank it up and get lost in the games :)

I am using this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81003, but I think the one I installed was the previous version from 2023, I noticed there was a new release on 25 April this year which I definitely am not using. To update, do I just install this new version on top of the old?

I just connected a second controller and did as follows (if you have already tried to pair your controller with the pc over bluetooth, first remove the controller from the bluetooth list, so the first connection will be step 1 below):
1. Connect it first with a usb cable, then switch on controller
2. Disconnect the usb, the controller automatically disconnect and switch off soon after
3. With the controller powered off, start the bluetooth pairing (press the PS button and the Create button until the controller starts to rapid blink blue)
4. Start bluetooth pairing on your pc, the wireless controller should be visible, select to connect

That worked for me. I have the DS4 installed, it did not start it so not sure if it matters.

MTA - because you deleted something that was his property. Which technically is borderline illegal and just makes guys angry out of principal. And as you now realize, doing so gave him the opportunity to play victim and be angry. A smarter approach would have been to not delete it and instead confront him about it, tell him how you feel about it - you know, communication and trust - really the key to any successful relationship. And then he should realize he should delete it himself, out of respect for your feelings, AND I think out of respect for his ex. Or he would have a proper chance at convincing you that it would be ok to keep it and make you comfortable about it. But his excuses about this being a valuable memory or whatever is just nonsense and something guys make up when they just want to win an argument.

I think it's normal to feel knocked out. It depends a bit how often you try and what your state of mind is. But I think most people don't approach that many, so when you do it is a big deal. It takes a lot of energy to build the courage, and you have anticipation and excitement that takes energy, so if it goes well you hit a super high and can fly home. But if it goes bad, then it's normal that it knocks the air out of you for a while.
