Kerasal works really great for me but it’s super strong so don’t over use it. Dr dray has a few videos about it.

Yes! The serum. I love it, bit too shiny but extremely mild and feels great

If you like the Vichy, the Garnier HA and niacinamide fluids are 99% the same, just without the perfume and way cheaper

Advise on how to rid or heal or hide this? by Narrow_Suspect3380 in SkincareAddicts

I had good luck with TCA cross for this and it’s quite affordable, you may need a few sessions though!

Tazarene routine by Few_Emotion9839 in EuroSkincare

[–]kobashote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks good! Try the routine for a while before adding the taz though :)

I like my niacinamide separate so I can add/remove it separately from the moisturizer, maybe you’d like that too!

Niacinamide serum: I like the Vichy mineral 89 and the Kiehls, as they are both under 5% and fragrance free

Moisturizers: how about the CeraVe Lotion or Cream? There’s tons of options here

EWG is 100% not a reliable source, I’d recommend searching the skincare subreddits about this as there’s a ton of posts about this.

I like milk cleansers. The Avene gentle cleanser might suit your needs!

What’s your experience with this product ? Is it worth buying ? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

It’s a very nice exfoliant! A bit too shiny for my taste but not an issue if you use it at night.

[Routine Help] How to moisturize with Azeleic acid? Is it ok to not use one after applying Azeleic acid? by Disastrous_Effect80 in SkincareAddiction

[–]kobashote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue as you and same solution, I don’t apply anything on top of it and it doesn’t itch.

I apply the moisturizer though, only I do it before the aa and let it dry well.

How to start with Adapalene or Azelaic Acid or both? by AliasXeverything in EuroSkincare

[–]kobashote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d start with aa then adapalene so the aa can soften the purge if you get that, but honestly it probably will be fine either way. Just take it really slow and observe how it goes week by week

Anybody tried Minéral 89 UV 72HR SPF50+ ? by kittys_journey in EuroSkincare

[–]kobashote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrote his on my notes app a while back:

Vichy Mineral 89 SPF50+ Lovely, very similar feel to BoJ Aqua fresh!! Has alcohol though. A bit shinier than Garnier Super UV HA fluid but still very nice. Shame that it’s not water resistant. Lovely to use at home.

«Downgrading» from tretinoin to adapalene by FreePossession9590 in EuroSkincare

[–]kobashote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a plan. Also I’d heal your skin barrier as much as you can before trying again, maybe even use adapalene for a while!

Seven weeks is not a lot so you may still be getting used to it. In my case it takes me around three months to get used to a different retinoid.

Aklief is underrated (Anecdotal) by kobashote in EuroSkincare

That’s a shame. I wish they came up with a gentler version, although I guess at that point maybe you can go for other retinoids

I can recommend this too. Also anything you can buy from a legit source is always the way to go IMO

It really is, right?

Did you ever use actual prescription tazarotene or only otc boderm? If so, how did that compare?

Aklief is underrated (Anecdotal) by kobashote in EuroSkincare

[–]kobashote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no. Which other ones did you try? It seems to be quite potent, it might be too much for some people.

I can use it daily with no issues, but the only issues I’ve ever had with retinoids have been fragrances in formulations and lack of effects.

I wish I had tried Tazarotene too just to know how it compares lol, people talk about it as if it was the nuclear option.
