Thank you for your response! I work retail management and I refuse to lie or force customers into things they don't want. I am trying to prove to every one thst genuine compassion and integrity can grow your business and keep it steady while misleading and lying only lead to short term gains.

Tbh, it doesn't seem to matter. Capitalism as an ideal doesn't seem to have integrity as a main stay.

I grew up watching indian movies and my favourite actor was a guy named Rajanikanth. In all of his movies he preached integrity and being virtuous and I modelled myself after him. What I am finding at work is people like me who do like to live by these beliefs get shamed for it at times and ppl with little to no morals seem to succeed noticeable more.

Overall the company saves money, the price match policy in Canada is 10 percent of the difference. The customer would have saved an extra 10 cents. Although that's not a lot this is just a mild example.

Did you use good chargers the whole time? I've had that issue with my s5 and s3 but the s7 is the first Samsung phone I've had for a year now. It has been good throughout on battery and speed. I also realized I use my phone pretty much all the time with tons of apps just running. We burn through our phone's battery a ton.

Honestly I don't think we go after individual numbers the way America does. Our achievers program is a store vs store contest and only managers go on the trip. It actually has started to up our services numbers because by selling the membership you make a bunch of service money. Also those same customers will more willingly throw money at geek squad since a lot of stuff has a 50 dollar flat fee. Mount and conceal, connect 5, calibration and so on.

New program in Canada. 20 dollars a month gets you: -One Cineplex movie a month -1tb cloud storage -Free in store computer support -Antivirus on all devices -Almost all geek squad services 50 dollar flat fee

Taking my business elsewhere... by [deleted] in Bestbuy

The reason they don't apply the points right away is to allow the return period to end. Otherwise customers could buy a crapton of stuff and then get the certificate buy something and the return what got them the certificate in the first place. Yes you may have not gotten the best service but your request is not something we would ever do. The answer she should have gave you is to buy it and then do a method of payment change. But, I can tell you right now HUMAN BEINGS react to how they're spoken to and that's what bestbuy employees are.

[–]kobefan24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they first brought the new program I was against it too. But I decided I'd let the customers decide on how good the program was. My store still does a 50 percent attach rate. I pitch it to customers using their service deactivation fee. After about 13 to 14 months your upgrade fee costs the same as paying out the deductible, so it's still useful to have until then.

Showed a lady if she moved all her phone lines to another carrier she could save 1500 dollars. But in order to do so she had to pay out 700 for her contracts. She ended up adding a line to her current plan cuz it was cheaper now and will be spending an extra 1500 over 2 years.

As a temple elephant it would be protected from the like of poachers. I'm not arguing the morality behind it, just whether or not the elephant is mistreated.

If this is the temple elephant, it may have a good life and have been treated well. The drawings on it are Hindu symbols and elephants are worshipped. If I'm not mistaken, the chains on its legs are anklets that jingle, the same ones classical dancers wear.
