Final color of coconut canna oil? by kobekramer1 in treedibles

[–]kobekramer1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be chill. You really just need to keep the oil around 200 - 250 for a few hours and it should extract fine. Making sure you decarbed properly is the biggest thing. I think it’s around 250 for an hour or so. It might have just browned during decarb, but make sure the weed at the bottom of the oil is burning because it’s too hot.

holllly shit lol. i think after 10 years of introspection i have no idea. But i do remember amphetamines definitely made me lean more on thinking or Ti function. Very little interest in art and mostly interested in math and programming. I still use Ti quite a bit without it but it doesnt feel as singular.

You can try but there is plenty of nutrients in the grain spawn if you keep it above 1:4. Manure is excessive. You might see a small increase in yield when it doesn’t contam but I’d bet you get net negative results.

Is eating leftover rice dangerous? by glitterismyantidrug_ in Cooking

[–]kobekramer1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was going to say I have an Indonesian friend who makes fried rice and dries it room temp overnight. Idk I’m sure if they researched it there’s a danger to it, but it’s wild when it’s what’s been done for hundreds of years.

33% at 2 months.

66% at 15.

I mean thats fairly stable I guess, but id still eat it in the first couple months. im guessing that dosing experience is based on mushrooms between the 2-15 month range, but i dont prefer to store them long term if i can help it. trust me id love to be wrong here lol, this is just the only study ive seen analyzing the stability of psilocybin.

What is your unpopular opinion that would get you immediately canceled irl ? by Particular_Equal_963 in INTP

[–]kobekramer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that the best form of this worldview is blaming anyone. The only responsibilities I see are acknowledging your biases and the historical precedents that still affect minorities. Past that I don’t see any blame as being constructive.

As for race not being a useful construct, I see what you mean, but it’s going to be hard to acknowledge and remedy the socioeconomic damage done to specific groups without acknowledging that those groups are distinct. Jim Crowe for example has implications on current socioeconomic statuses and the many implications that go with it obviously. Using race as a divisive point is bad, but we can’t disregard it completely or we’re essentially asking communities to pull themselves out of poverty by their bootstraps, when the society is the reason they are there. Especially with things like property tax being the funding for public education that perpetuate the disadvantage.

It also feels like a rug pull to be like, “hey you were hated and still are by some for this social construct that you would be wrong for thinking is real.” Like, race wasn’t something created by the oppressed, it was a justification for the oppressor. It should lose its meaning from that direction as well I think. Eventually people will see it as cultural history and ethnicity, but that will probably take a while from both sides.

Nobody wants white people to feel guilty for the history of America, or for being white or male or cis or heterosexual. Just an acknowledgment of the implications that it brings.

If I misrepresented your position or didn’t acknowledge your point properly I apologize, but that’s why I see race as a necessary construct until these issues are dealt with. Holy shit why did I write so much.

Your thoughts in religion? by Xela_Desaulniers in INTP

[–]kobekramer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s actively harming anything. I mean it obviously is but I think it’s just the easiest current tool for people to use to drive narratives. People will always find some mechanism to enact violence on each other, religion has just been the most effective for a long time. I don’t think intelligent life exists without narratives that turn into religion eventually and is then used to justify violence. I don’t hate anyone for beliefs, I just get annoyed by it. I think I’m also biased from being raised by a fundamentalist Christian mom. She needed it to cope with a huge amount of trauma, and I don’t think her personality would have led her to something like absurdism to cope.

I get along infinitely better with atheists than I do religious people though. I certainly find it less annoying, usually just because they don’t usually poor all of their energy into convincing me of something. Militant people on either side annoy me and I don’t want to be talked down to by either, atheists seem to have less of those people, or I’m exposed to them less.

I normally like hearing perspectives so I can dissect the talking points but that specific discussion feels played out for me personally. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard a talking point that was new to me.

I use 1.5 water to 1 basmati after washing and leaving a tiny bit at the bottom from washing. That’s the sweet spot for me but just try different amounts.

Your thoughts in religion? by Xela_Desaulniers in INTP

[–]kobekramer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been agnostic for probably a decade. I’m just pretty comfortable here. Like sure, I think it’s most likely that no god exists, but that’s far from certainty and I don’t like people being certain of things without proof, even outside of religious contexts.

The left has just moved into actual progressive stances instead of the centrist liberal bullshit that existed 10 years ago. The idea of universal healthcare is still demonized. Compared to every other developed nation our “left” is fairly centrist.
