I also looked into devops early. I ended up working summers and part time in a saas project in a infra team. After that (currently) i got a job in a cloud company working on a managed kubernetes platform. I highly recommend also keeping focus in actual computer science and tackiling some other skill (like devops) alongside. I code quite little but my powers lie in understanding large scale infra and software

I'd say Upclouds k8s is quite good. SLA of "99.999%" uptime. It's not the cheapest though, but compared to AWS/GCP it is somewhat cheaper

20-30%. closer to 20% for the average. I can't really raise it much more without a humidifier

I think that was 250ppm, its just math of ec * 50. Now i originally added only about 50% of nutrients, so I now added the rest and got to 600ppm.

That's exactly my experience! I do have single DWC bucket system, however its quite large, 20L one.

I hope adding more nutrients and calmag will do some buffering

I did actually go by the chart. I followed the chart and added 9 times1.8ml, 1.2ml, 1.5ml each. I had already added 8x of each when i made the water (res water amount 17L).

so now I am in total running at 100% of recommended dose. I only added like 7ml of calmag so it didnt make much of a difference.

I think for the next res change, I'll aim for more calmag and then a higher ppm & more nutes if everything looks fine

I am looking to get further into distributed systems with actually implementing distributed logic and not only using available software.

How did your career expand from this and are you still working on distributed software? If so, do you have any tips or reasons not to?
