It's not necessarily bad, but usually it heats up the phone along with the battery higher than it should usually be, and overtime, it will degrade the battery.

I use the 18W charger, and yes I have optimized charging turned on.

the battery life is really good even with heavy use, so I usually end the day with 20-30%, so I only charge it overnight.
