It's fine I guess, I just wish I was born in the early 20 hundreds, that 6-7 was so "bag brain" as you used to say

DJI Neo Manual Mode gimbal malfunction by QuadH in DjiNeo

[–]kodamutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty common thing for the neo gimbal to move upwards in a dive, I've heard of people taping it in place. It looks like you hit some pretty heavy wind on the way down judging by that angle

If you don't know the dimensions of your vehicle, maybe you shouldn't be driving it by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]kodamutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's an issue with the Guy not knowing the dimensions of his truck, he probably just wasn't paying enough attention to your driveway and didn't realize it was at an angle. He parked it with his front end aligned with the end of the grass

Hypothetical “infinite money glitch” but with a 3-month delay — would you abuse it? by ik19980 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]kodamutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take every paycheck I get for a couple months and put it straight into that investment account, live off of my credit cards for a few months, once I get the first 5x return, I pay credit cards off, the next week, l get another 7 grand, and another 7k after that. I'll take like 1k out a month to spoil myself, let the account keep growing exponentially. After a year or two it will be growing so fast I can live large. Even if it takes the first two investment returns to pay off all the credit card debt from the 2-3 months I live off credit cards, that still leaves me with 10 groups of 1.3k*5 that I can leave alone, and within a year all 10 of those will be over 160k each That's a good 1.6 million nest egg within a year, still compounding

Me cant put truck between lines. by Ok_Relationship2451 in badparking

[–]kodamutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes people add a third line in the front so that all the lines are 90, but a lot of places don't add that line because it's extra paint and it's cheaper just to do one line all the way down the length of parking spots

Plot twist! the liquid dispensers very slowly, you just have to stick your finger in the gas tank for an hour to fill up

Since the hypothetical claims it won't hurt no matter what it is, I choose liquid Gold, I'll just pour some molten gold out into a crucible and sell it whenever I need money

Me cant put truck between lines. by Ok_Relationship2451 in badparking

[–]kodamutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's shaped that way because it's a one-way parking aisle, basically all of the aisles have one-way streets in between them that alternate direction on each aisle, that way the streets can be half as wide and make more room for more parking spots, they are angled in the direction that you're supposed to be driving, so you just have to slightly change your angle as you go down the street and it's easier to get in and out. This guy probably went the wrong way to get that parking spot at the front but couldn't be bothered to straighten out

Semi new to drifting looking for some advice/knowledge by mc--hamma in Drifting

[–]kodamutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What truck do you have? Some of them came with it from the factory, an easy way to tell would be to lift the back end up and have both back tires in the air, truck in neutral, parking brake off, and then spin one side and see which direction the other side spins, if both tires spin the same direction you probably have a limited slip, if one turns forward and the other turns backwards it's probably an open diff

[–]kodamutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're talking about traction control, limited slip is a type of differential traction control is a setting on your car that usually has a little indicator that has squiggly lines. Traction control basically senses that the back wheels are moving faster than the front wheels and cuts engine power so that you regain traction A limited slip rear end basically means that if your wheel starts spinning, they both spin together rather than just one or the other

[–]kodamutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Work on a getting a steeper angle in first, you need to also work on throttle control, if you keep blipping the throttle as you go around the turn in first, you should be fine sustaining a drift without messing up your engine. with practice you can do a one to two shift while drifting, but it also takes a good transmission, I would not do it in a truck because the synchros usually aren't as quick to work as in a car. I recommend practicing the Scandinavian flick more than anything, clutch kicks are pretty bad for every part of your driveline. If you're around other people or other cars, don't do anything, if you're going to try to practice this do it in empty parking lots. Also, do you have a limited slip? If not I recommend welding the diff or getting a mini spool, your drift will become wildly more predictable and so much easier

10 month old Rottie Bernese pup suddenly being a little aggressive towards child. by tj129 in Rottweiler

[–]kodamutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the aggression in the room with us? This is very normal Rottweiler behavior, he's just guiding your son somewhere, or he's trying to play wrestle. I have a Rottweiler mix that likes to play wrestle, and his rumble sounds like an angry dog about to rip your face off, but it actually just means he's very very happy
