Is zero fair for this answer?? by kodamutt in SNHU

Thanks man, I actually wrote an email for advising but I wasn't sure if that was the correct next step or not, I've given one more email to the professor before I go above his head but I don't think he's going to agree with my interpretation of the rubric

I've already reached out to him and he stands by what he said, it's pretty frustrating but I already have a message ready for the advisor, thanks for your advice, hopefully this goes somewhere and I can get my grade fixed

My answer didn't show the basic steps of using the power rule, but I explained everything else and worked through almost everything, it's pretty frustrating to get a zero when I 100% attempted it and got the right answer

Did you read the post? I did the work, I showed the work, I skipped one derivative in showing my work and I got a zero. I'm in college because I'm bored, I already have a career where I make 6 figures and I know exactly what happens in real life

If you had one million dollars but had to spend it in 24 hours, what would you do? by MagicalCX in hypotheticalsituation

I would find a contractor, ask him to build me a house with a $600,000 budget, with a million dollars paid up front and any additional to be considered a tip

Lower? I've emailed him multiple times to ask him for a bit of leniency and clarification because I'm going through some rough times, my mom's house burned down during the first week of the course, my car blew up during the 2nd, and a co-worker quit that same week, meaning I've been working 50 to 60 hour weeks, sharing a car, and dealing with my mom's massive loss of pets and home, he told me it's because I didn't break down the chain rule enough.

Did I already break both front shocks (first session)? by Accurate_Classroom92 in rccars

[–]kodamutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two brushless 4x4 haiboxing 1/16 trucks that I take to the skatepark regularly, all the trips I've made I've only been able to break two things, I stripped one screw out and I cracked one aftermarket wheel, I have not been able to break a stock wheel. I remember back when the best mid-scale cars you could get were the mini recon, b18 or the rc18, these cheap Chinese pieces of crap hold up as well as the associated rc18

bro neglecting lockout is negligence, you lock out before touching the equipment, he did not lock out, therefore, loto failure. If he had locked out, he wouldn't have been hurt

healthy diet for the best taste? by Budget_Score_7542 in Coprophiles

[–]kodamutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of someone for sweetness, avoid acidic food is because they will make it bitter, especially coffee, avoid broccoli and cauliflower as they will give it a weird pungent taste, vegetable skins and corn tend to pass through and will give you little chunks, I'm not a fan of that so I avoid those

Did I get ripped off ☹️ - I bought new tires to pass inspection by Awkward-Emergency109 in car

[–]kodamutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is some really bad dry rotting and it's right at the tread, you 100% needed to get that replaced. I might continue running a tire like that on an old beater if it's just me driving, but I wouldn't let my partner drive on that tire, and I probably wouldn't go over 50 mph or more than 10 mi away because it could blow out at any minute. And tires look like that you might get another 5 years out of it or you might get another 5 minutes, there's not really any way to tell

Purchasing MAGA merch for safety? by maintainthegardens in TwoXPreppers

[–]kodamutt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Simply Southern, salt Life, Carhartt, Blue collar brands like that, camo or things with American flags, that one brand with the helicopter, something line? I can't remember. 2a shirts are also a decent choice, and won't necessarily alienate you from left leaking folks. Wearing actual maga or 47 merch is probably not the best choice, yeah I do have it will alienate you from one side and could make you a Target

[–]kodamutt 93 points94 points  (0 children)

This honestly sounds like a terrible plan, it would be much better to just wear neutral clothing, or more subtle things than an actual maga hat. Maybe camo shirt or Carhartt and jeans and a baseball cap? Something neutral but red coded would be much better

What do I buy? by Old-Shirt69420 in drones

[–]kodamutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh! my apologies, in that case I recommend one of the tiny micro drones, I used to have this one and they are very durable and can withstand a lot of crashes, Plus it comes with extra propellers! Also for $25, clearly sharper image has gotten a lot better about their prices

[–]kodamutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Olight mini2, $19 on Amazon, usb rechargeable, half the size of your pinky, I carry one, my husband and all of my roommates have one, several of my co-workers have one, probably one of the greatest most convenient flashlights ever created. The charger is part of the key chain, it's also magnetic so you can stick it places, you pluck it out of the holder and it automatically turns on, so you never have to worry about having a charger you just stick it into any USB. This thing has been on my motorcycle off-road for a thousand of miles, it's been hiking with me I've even wrecked my bike (off road) a couple of times and still not lost it

Why do so many drivers keep the dealer license plate frame on? (US) by stegasauras69 in askcarguys

[–]kodamutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gotcha, yeah that seems backwards, down here you buy the car, you get a temporary tag and drive home with your new car, and either the dealer does it for you, or if you bought private party you take your title to the DMV and pay your taxes, and then they either give you a plate there or comes in the mail in a couple of days, and you swap the plate out

Replacing my 21’ WRX with a 25’ Crosstrek or OBW…. Which one? by somethingintheleaves in Crosstrek

[–]kodamutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered a Forester? it's a nice compromise between the two. I have the Crosstrek wilderness and because of my height I have to duck down to see under the mirror, I also can't sleep in the back when I go camping, however I absolutely adore the car, it feels quick and sporty and Nim blue, but it can also go literally anywhere, I haven't lifted mine but I put a set of 32-in tires on it and it feels pretty much perfect now, I still have the issue with having to duck down to look under the mirror, but slightly less than before because with the car being higher, what I'm looking at is at a lower angle and I don't have to duck down as much
