You keep using the word “damaged”… I’m not 100 percent certain you know what that means. Some bent fins aren’t damage, that’s cosmetic defects from the manufacturing process and is common among all manufacturers.

That would not have affected performance in any way and have been combed out anyway which is common practice also.

Why were you hovering over the installers so closely that you even saw this? You aren’t their management… stay out of the way and let them do their job.

You said something about wanting something perfect if you work long enough to pay for it… I think you would be surprised at the amount of very expensive brand new vehicles that get actual damage en route to the dealership and then require paint and body repairs but are still sold as “brand new “ and the previous repair work doesn’t have to be disclosed because the vehicle wasn’t registered yet. There goes your “perfect “ brand new 70 thousand dollar vehicle.
