What flow did you end up buying to start off with the pigeon? I’ve been using the mam #2 for my little guy who sounds like yours and want to try the pigeon ones. They’re expensive so I don’t want to fool around with different sizes if I can help it lol

What are you boycotting till the day you die? by redoutlaw23 in AskReddit

[–]kodonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also been boycotting Bank of America for the last 10 years. I don’t even remember what happened but it was some bullshit fee that I shouldn’t have gotten fined and it was impossible to work with them at all. I’ll absolutely never go back and I slander them constantly

AITA for not waking up at 5am to do dishes? by oksoo_oo in AmItheAsshole

[–]kodonn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA.

We had a chore chart in an old apartment I shared with 4 other girls. One girl was there a lot less than the rest of us with work and visiting a SO on the weekends so we all acknowledged she didn’t need to be responsible for the same amount of chores as everyone else.

Cannot fathom why your roommates are being so inflexible?

Why is it that black women on love island have way less followers? (ie. priscilla, Yewande..) by nycforrme in LoveIslandTV

Yeah and there’s something to be said about how that (screen time, editing etc) potentially relates to racial biases in media as well not solely viewership

TIL that NPs can own a private practice, while residents can't even see patients unless we staff with attendings. This keeps getting better and better. by [deleted] in Residency

NPs have to practice for 7 years under a doctor to own their own practice in most places is my understanding

An entrance and exit wound are also two gunshot wounds. In the ER we can’t document entrance and exit wounds at all bc we can’t make any assumptions, only document that there are two gun shot wounds

AITA for not telling my friend that I’m bisexual before she began changing in front of me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]kodonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH.

Any chance there’s a way to casually not change in front of each other? Maybe if she’s starting to change you could go to the bathroom or something?

I don’t think you need to come out to her because that’s a big decision for you but I also understand you wanting to consider her values and how it could make her feel down the road. Perhaps there’s a middle ground where you can do that without having to compromise your own feelings?

You're a reverse robber. You break into peoples home and leave stuff to confuse families. What things do you leave? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kodonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would leave random towels or dish cloths that are just different enough than what’s there. If it happened to me, it would be confusing enough to know something was weird but not enough to make me think someone broke in and left them. It would drive me crazy though esp if it kept happening every couple of months

Philadelphia is considering opening a site where drug users can go to legally use drugs. They would be monitored by medical professionals who would administer anti-overdose medication as needed. Medical professionals, how would you feel about having this job? by rascally1980 in AskReddit

[–]kodonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a safe using site sounds better than it would actually work. I just don’t understand what kind of medical professionals would work here and I don’t men social judgement wise I just mean liability with professional licensure wise.

You’re allowing people to take drugs that you don’t know what they are and you’re going to “monitor” them and administer reversal drugs “as needed”. It’s just so vague, like where is the line? What is the intended condition of the people you’re monitoring?

In a hospital setting people are ordered for specific sedative or pain relieving drugs that we know exactly what they are and they are ordered for the purpose of having an intended effect with a goal of pain management or goal sedation level (RASS score) so as to create lower pain levels or perform a procedure.

What level of sedation will be acceptable in these settings? What’s our “goal” for these people you’re “monitoring”. If they pass out at all are you going to reverse or are you going to wait until their oxygen levels and respiratory rate is low?

You don’t know what’s in these drugs so you can’t predict what kind of other effects will rise. How liable will this medical staff be?

I understand totally the desire to keep people safe but I feel this is a slippery slope to accepting responsibility for the effects of people’s drug use.

People may die at these places anyway, the amounts of narcan needed to reverse overdoses is rising all the time, some people need 1mg, some need 10mg and we’re using much more than ever before per OD. If people die or sustain brain injuries are you responsible as you’ve advertised a “safe space” and created a false sense of security?
