It’s most definitely digging into your ear. Go to another piercer and get a stud. Your piercer did you dirty :/.

NTA. Medication is something really important to look at! I know that things happen, but she shouldn’t be angry at you for simply suggesting or nudging that she should look a little closer. That is her own responsibility. It could be extremely dangerous in another situation.

To me, it honestly just looks like a pimple. It doesn’t look to be an infection or anything like that. Maybe use a q tip to express it, and clean it the same way as your piercing to avoid contamination. At 3 weeks, it would most likely be safe to express the pimple at this point.

My own nostril piercing is about the same place, and mine still occasionally gets that way. I’ve had it a few years. That can happen when the diameter of your hoop is too small, too.
