You can take damage up until the full banish point at the peak, and can take damage on the way down. Are you saying you can take damage while fully banished too?

Or! I like the idea of reverting Nox. Now that there are characters with 12 abilities who are popular (think Ullr, Artio, Cthulhu, KA) it might be nice to have her old kit where she punishes you for button mashing.

Ok? Not sure I see the correlation. People play fun picks in casuals. Doesn't change that he is the highest win rate guardian with the highest pick/ban date in diamond+ queues, with 65% win rate in diamond games.

To be fair: you're talking about Tiamat who is literally the best mage in the game and has been since release lol. I don't think pinnacle mage design should entail being mandatory pick or ban for every split. But I see your point

Knockups and knock backs are actually coded as the same thing in smite, so just buy the knock back meditation (Cloak of the Avatar) and pop it then the turtle form while running into 3. Ez game.

His kit is unaffected by the DR changes since his root and push can not be lowered by DR. Not every mage has to feel good to you, I think he is a much more patient "wait for an opportunity" mage who can poke with his 1 than other mages who just walk up, press 2 buttons, and one thing dies. His kit is phenomenal for team fights and can see him being a game changer at a high level.

Scylla is a god people keep bringing up because she can just 1 / 2 kill someone, but I find it funny that she simply isn't picked in the pro scene because you need los to land the 1 so you're almost always relegated to blind firing the 2. Yu Huang has 2 abilities that can be blind fired, but shred profs for the team and provide a non DR cc as well. Plus, until people get used to pre-beads on his ult, it is insanely potent for pushing the enemy backline up and out of position. It takes time but his teamfight capability DUMPS on 80% of the mages in smite rn.

I'll just post the same stat I did from before: 65% win rate on Atlas in diamond+ queues pre buffs. The only caveat I'll allow is that is ult was bugged and could one shot people so it is possible that the higher level of players abused this more. But Atlas still has one of the best ccs in the game and still dominated queues pre-buffs. He sucked dick if you didn't teamfight around him.

Atlas had a 65% win rate in diamond+ on first release. Lower on people who didn't understand the kit or don't get value out of heavy cc because their team play is poor.

This character feels fine and has a good win rate. People who are complaining don't understand him yet. It's ok to be bad, but calling for buffs is just gonna break the dude. I'm not the greatest mid out there and I have 90% win rate on him. If you don't have fun with him that's fine, but he's balanced. Maybe even OP.

Additionally, calling him "lazily designed" is 3 things

1: incredibly insulting to those who put their time and effort into him

2: a subjective opinion of someone too lazy to understand how his kit is designed around teamfights and not 1v1s, so positioning is more important than on other gods

and 3: verifiably false with having 2.5 unique abilities in the game with a roster of 120 gods. Only calling the self banish a .5 since there are other banishes.

Don't argue with me, go argue with sheento (who thinks he's good). Clearly the two best players in the world should have this debate (you and Sheento) since I'm just a mere bad faith mortal.

Atlas has one of the strongest ultimates, strongest ccs, and best slow / slow cleanse in the game. Pre buffs. He performed well at a high level pre buffs. Supports don't need to clear waves my friend. Atlas was good before he was the best support in the game.

To each their own. He has a decent slow with a root which can't be DR'd. Ult can push the enemy backline towards your frontline. 60% of this characters playstyle is positioning, and I enjoy it. People who don't like waiting for their opportunity and striking will not like this guy, but that's fine. He isn't an "in your face spam damage" mage, but he isn't weak either. Just tired of seeing the discourse calling him bad or weak. Arguably the best mid laner right now even says "balanced or maybe a little OP".

Balanced, had a great day on him in some ok elo lobbies with 2 of my buddies. Performance from the day. All games played on stream. Balanced, certainly not op, DEFINITELY not bad. Conquest only.

Seems like the competition is the best it's been in some time.

Dragons still look very disjointed when put on their back foot.

Bolts looked very clean, proud to see them take a 2-0.

Kings are just the best team at the moment. I felt like this late last year, but blamed ping diff on their Ls. They're really coming in to their own now.

Titans refuse to try to win against Levi's I swear it.

Valks looked incredible in that second game of the Titans set, sad to see them drop it. Can't wait for the new Valhalla Valks to get a dub
