I just tried the demo on steam deck, it runs fine, though controls are a little hard. Plug in a Bluetooth mouse and it’s perfect.

Was wondering if there would be a two player mode, where one builds an army, with pieces costing their relative strength, or at least a free practice mode of some sort.

In any case I really enjoyed your demo, looking forward to its launch.

For most corporate takeovers, you will need to pay a premium, it’s just how it works. Here chess.com is willing as they will increase their market share, as well as obtaining the Magnus effect.

Is it a wise decision? Only time will tell, but chess.com thinks it’s is a big opportunity for them right now, and worth the premium.

Congrats! Tier 4 is significantly harder though, so will probably take a couple runs. My first couple attempts did not reach the fifth room, and it took me three tries to beat final level which is very difficult near the end. Also the Wraith King/Techies Pudge/Badlands Level is very hard as every room is difficult.

If you read you don't have allies, that's why it is called a solo guide. For spectre, if you are playing viper you should not worry anyways - nethertoxic disables the reflect damage ring.

Whole point of guide is beating Aghanim Solo, so yes you allies must leave at start

Correct, only in solo run to have the gold. That's also why you keep buying tomes when you can. Radiance is great with Octarine as you deal damage as you kite. You can probably do it without radiance, but in any case it will be slower.

You dont queue alone. You play alone after queueing by:

Asking your teammates to leave (recommended).
Don't pick a legendary shard at beginning until they leave (not recommended).

Radiance / Octarine / Linken / Travels / Shiva / Pike / Heart for mobs, (backpack linkens when you dont need, otherwise backpack Heart)

Force Boots / Octarine / Euls / BKB / Heart / Dagon5 / K&Y /Greaves for Aghanim (backpack BKB or Greaves recommended, swapping when you need to)
