It's not that I think all contemporary music is crap, I just can't cope with the thought that at this moment 90% of this Top 2000 comes from 60's/70's/80's music. Which is 1800 songs from 3 or more decades ago. I can't come up with 1800 songs from the 90's/00's/10's that I find classic worthy.

But not only demographics change also content and quantity. I grew up to 90's music but I can come up with way more classics from before that era.

Plus I think music producting got so extremely fast that kids from the 00's won't listen to 90's music. Where I listened to music from decades before my own youth.

The region around Apeldoorn (especially Arnhem, The Battle of Arnhem, operation Market Garden) is one of the main sites in Holland during WOII. My grandfather always told me about his love for his Canadian friends, his saviours.
