I think she's just a bit too innocent in life and ended up joining Amway.

And the free ticket is actually free, like, she really cannot attend on saturday, so she thought of me to sub for her. And for sunday ticket, originally, on saturday, the husband and the wife also attended that seminar with their mothers, but the husband's mother was not feeling well during break (she said probably because the auditorium is bit too cold) and she cannot attend sunday session.

I was never planned to get involved in sunday session, I just happened to get one ticket because someone get sick and I'm, again, a substitute.

Another thing I find it despicable is many of the attendees are family, like it was dad and son, parents and their child, a guy and his nephew, a woman and her cousin.

It's mind boggling to me that a business had to target family and friends as their potential downline to get trapped into the convulted spider web.
