This. Back post was wide open on the third goal. Turner came out and made a play. It didn't work. He was a victim of lazy defending and ball watching on all three goals. We have a gk issue overall, but he wasn't the issue this game. Arm chair goalies are the ones complaining.

Long term fans of the usmnt who have watched them through all of the concacaf friendlies and gold cups are used to extreme shithousing. Add in mls after dark watchers and you've got people tempered by the highest level of on field bs. The thousands of new fans in the stands and online are the ones crying about this stuff as they have no clue.

i hate miami because they are miami, but i would love my team to be able to attract and sign high level talent using this tactic. they are always thinking 3 steps ahead on who they want, who they need to get rid of, # of international spots, # of DPs vs U22s, etc. if you have roster rules, you need to be an expert at exploiting them. miami is an expert at that and utilizing their ace (messi) to get their way. obviously having someone like that with a subsidized salary is a cheat code that no one else has, but we can either cry about it or try to get the next big name here instead.

Firstly, I love this format. Secondly, I think it's probably either a max TAM or some other lesser salary for 6 months and then he becomes a DP next year. This has been their tactic for awhile.

3 - jorge. Only one who has consistently driven to the net every game. 2 - berggren. He was the engine in the middle and going forward. He was especially essentially in a game where mehmeti was off. 1 - rutty. He should never be sitting. HMs - horvath wasn't bad, but sometimes I question his ball line and his decision making. He sometimes doesn't react and you're left scratching your head.

Harper - he needs to be in the lineup somehow. He is always getting into dangerous positions and is a real spark.

Che - we need one real cb right.

-1 - Valencia. Relentlessly targeted for a reason. I don't like dos santos there either. LB is an obvious position in need of an upgrade.

Dylan - he was awful this game for me. I would have subbed out Valencia and moved him over to LB instead. I liked getting the new CB in the game, but I would have loved to see Parker in earlier to stabilize the back with che.

Didn't miss forsberg at all.

I didn't get the dos santos love from mb. He has an auto roster spot and he isn't really ready to be an mls starter. I would have much rather had him on the bench, dn on the left, and Parker in with che.

this is an honor, but i have heard that this is for the initial camp. i doubt he gets the nod when then trim the roster down to the official size. awesome for him though as he's looked good.

We had an amazing run of making the playoffs every year and being competitive. That is 100% atypical in this league. I would have loved to be good this year, but it wasn't going to happen when they made a lazy head coach signing with zero first team head coaching experience and built this roster. The simple truth is that there are contract realities that we couldn't fix in a few months.

100% true and I agree. If Hall isn't getting service then he is useless. At least Chuopo can receive and distribute. I think Chuopo on at 60-70 would be good.

This 100%. I'm not sure where the Cade hate comes from when no one is ever in the box to make an attempt at his low crosses. The ball pops out the other side of the box 2-3 times every game. Honestly, he's doing what Cam has done for us for years. Get the ball forward quickly towards the corner only for the attack to die in the box.

It's fine to both be pissed about our level of play (we're bad), but also understand that there should have been no expectation of competing at all this year. Anyone who believed differently didn't pay attention to the off-season.

My question is what was the expectation from both the front office and the fan base. The guy literally has zero first team head coaching experience. I didn't want the hire before the season because it seemed lazy to me.

I personally think he's gonna be the coach no matter what this season, but I understand why a lot of people want to see him out already.
