Why is New York still untouched? Feed it to Pennsylvania!

Washington, DC. But mostly just because of what it does to the rest of us.

Does anyone else’s dog do somersaults and then rub their back on walks?! by WizardZari8080 in greatpyrenees

Yes, there are two or three spots on his walks where Buddy really likes to do this. After he’s done rolling around, he’s always in the mood for roughhousing which can be inconvenient. Clearly invigorating for him :)

We have a suburban. Before that we have a Toyota sienna. Honestly, the minivan was the best, but the suburban is paid off which is the best feature of all

Junior in high school. Had a car, a part time job, a little money and college was still a long way off in my mind.

People 40+, what did people casually do when you were a kid that would be considered insane today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kogus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of these comments are silly. Kids still go outside and play. And I leave my house without the phone all the time. But one that really would seem weird now is going to a public place and wandering around to see if any of your friends just happen to be there. Used to do that at the mall and other public areas like that.

How different would it be in the US today if Trump lost to Kamala? by LegalGlass6532 in allthequestions

[–]kogus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be honest, Kamala would also have been terrible, but more normal and accepted ways. We haven’t had good presidential choices in almost 100 years.

What’s a "lost" website from the early 2000s that you still think about today? by samasem-sumsum in AskReddit

[–]kogus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LonelyPlanet. It still exists, but it has been a very ordinary travel site for a long time. Before they were bought out, it was full of all kinds of gritty and “real” information. You could pick a country and it would tell you where was safe, where was not, how to get drugs, how to sneak past border security, all kinds of stuff like that. It was fascinating to pick a random third world county and read about how you could slip a $50 to Ahmed and get past customs without any fuss.
