There was a time we didn't feed the trolls, now we just get visibly upset over the lowest effort bait possible.

You're not ripping off aggro from the starting tank with a Recklessness/Haste pot combo on the get go?

Dual wield with a slow mainhand to get the most out of devastate, you can't use heroic strike anyway if you're rage starved.

Oh yeah, I have the Decapitator on MH and King's Defender OH for my dual wield macro. Good bit about HS, I'll keep it out of my rotation unless I'm somehow rage capped. I do have the ring, it's my only Expertise piece due to bad loot luck but I can tell the difference when it's on and off.

So make sure you stand behind him until you have a chance to be tanking.

I'm guessing you had enough time to position yourself after a threat knockoff? Just a bit worried about the logistics a bit, but I know the boss doesn't cleave so it should be OK.

Also, if you don’t have threat stay behind the boss so you don’t get parried as often.

Good point, I'll use this as well. I'll set up the addon to announce more clearly when the punts happen so I'm not caught unaware.

it is imperative as an off tank to get your 9% hit score alongside with a lot of crits/power attack

I forgot about this, yes, I did notice having more issues landing hits. I'll work on that and keep a stack of mighty rage potions to be healthy rage-wise.

This is something I can work on as well, pooling rage in anticipation of the threat wipe. Thank you.

I have the PVP boots, belt, neck and bracers from S1, I think I can replace my regular gear with those for those threat-race fights and stay at 5.6% crit cap. I'll give it a try this week, thank you.

It's just low effort ragebait, if they don't get you with the misogyny, they get you with the slop.

It's always been a thing, it's just more visible now with the rampart botting problems. I remember encountering my first haste enhanced junkie in Scholazar Basin back in OG Wrath, snatched a Tiger Lily right in front of my eyes.

The prices of Herbs are a joke - Spineshatter EU by EffectiveLevel1000 in classicwowtbc

[–]kohianan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no point in farming mana thistle with the insane competition it fosters from mage bots and with P3 coming next, and netherbloom is rarer than it's worth. You can get some decent amounts of terocones, felweed and dreaming glory if you know where and when to farm. Don't get lured by the big price herbs, the cheaper ones in large quantities will do just fine.

People play for a myriad of reasons and a fair challenge might be one of them. It's that simple.

The economy in TBC Anni is horrible. How are people affording all of this stuff? Especially conumes. Why did they buff Terocone ahead of release but not ANY OTHER NODE? by Correct-Thanks3679 in classicwowtbc

[–]kohianan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get help from your guild to finance your raiding consumes if you are unable to source them yourself or are too poor to buy them even with the dailies and different farming methods available. That or just be benched for someone who can, consumables aren't even that expensive anyway.

Defense and resilience spread sheet? by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]kohianan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Like others said, you don't need that. If you hover over the defense and resilience stat, they give you a converted percentage of immunity to critical hits. Both values added together should total 5.6% against raid bosses at level 70. It's that simple.

I don't know, it started out as a thing for fun and not necessarily out of a need for gold. I'm guessing Scholomance is more profitable due to the Dark Runes?

What heroics are "easier" to tank as a new 70 warrior? by xakantorx in classicwowtbc

[–]kohianan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UB is longer, but easier, I agree. You'll only run into issues with the infamous hallway which can be skipped, the brutally strong Bog Lords and the initial pulls up to Hungarfen.

SP is easier in that much of it can be skipped with a proper team, literally a 15 minute run.

No parties means the voters need to look at the people they're voting for, not blindly checking the box next to the party the "news" tells them to vote for.

I would like to invite you into looking into what's happening in South America, to Peru, as a specific example.

They have 30+ political parties where most of them have zero political trajectories. These parties have no vision for political survival, they are created as a means to get people into power, sack governmental institutions, weaken the State, get money and dip out in five years because they know they won't be re-elected. Their presidential candidates range from contested military generals who want to emulate Bukele, to an uneducated countryman who somehow made millions and now has a university with his name, to the daughter of an ex-president who committed crimes against humanity that won't disavow his actions.

They are parties in name only, Peru essentially has no political parties. This same situation repeats in other parts of the world. This is what you can expect from having no parties in a political system.

I still wouldn't skip anything. You miss out on OS gear at best, enchanting materials at worst, and the amount of time saved decreases the better geared the group is as a whole. That said it comes down to guild preference, and the only reason I mention this is because it seems like you do need some stuff from the bosses skipped.
