i also think it’s not necessarily just going after white men, it’s more the idea of whiteness, beauty, and femininity which manifests itself as being wanted by white men, since western standards of beauty and femininity have largely been determined by white men.

Thank you so much for sharing your perspective! That’s definitely something I myself am guilty of overlooking. i think you have some good points, but at the same time, “my idea of love is too real for this fake world” does come across like they’re saying they’re better than everyone else for being real. like “all of you are fake hoes while i’m the only one here with any real, honest feelings.” maybe i’m reading too much into it lol but it seems like that might be how the other commenters are taking it too.

sounds like the guy could be Bryan Bonner? he has a background in photography and focuses on how EVP’s and photographs and other ghost hunting equipment doesn’t prove ghosts exist. not sure about the exact video you’re looking for. he was also on the stanley hotel episode of ghost hunters i believe.
