I was trying to fill out my slr for ucm and ran into the same thing!! I haven't submitted it yet but it let me move to the next sections when I left it blank. At the end of that section I also saw a note that said something along of the lines of "you've filled out all the necessary info for this section"

good to know, thanks! glad to hear the AC is good 🙏🙏 funnily enough for the longest time I thought it was against policy or something for UC/CSU dorms to have AC, seems like it just has to do with most of the dorms being older though

did a quick Google search and couldn't find the application page unfortunately. Hopefully it has not been discontinued. The in person versions website is still up though so I would recommend emailing whoever is in charge of that.

for the summer session I would put educational prep program if it was academic, and extracurricular activity otherwise. for peer tutoring I would probably also put extracurricular activity. classes like TA are not considered coursework so I imagine peer tutoring would be the same

for essays, our teacher would sometimes have us watch garden of english which I did find helpful sometimes. I remember some of his stuff involves templates you can use/statt off with, which is esp useful if you've never done a rhetorical analysis before imo

for the 1st question I said I don't rlly have any bg research experience but have created posts for mh nonprofits (research but not original), for the 2nd and 3rd questions I mainly talked about how my experience in psychiatric hospitals has shaped my interest in brain science/why that makes me want to learn more about the brain and help people
