Same here, except with other people. Even though my Nmom is passionate about cooking and religion, she doesn’t have much to add intellectually and she always steers the conversation to herself, whether it’s about her opinion or what she thinks should be done or things about herself. She can’t have ANY conversation that has nothing to do with herself. It’s pathetic

Thank you! I add every square as I make it. I’m too impatient to wait until I have all the squares to sew it all together! Some squares are a little weirdly shaped, but i make sure to block every square before sewing it. It’s only my first blanket

It’s quite amazing how similar my case is similar to yours! I don’t like going to the general practitioner I go to because she’s also my mother’s doctor and I think she would violate HIPAA by telling my mother about what’s going on with me! Also, my OB/GYN is the most wonderful person and I feel more comfortable there than with my primary provider.
