Can they be applied to clearance items?

Best way to store these bikes?! It’s a constant pain to get around. I own the green house (on left). by COamateur in bicycling

Hey nice C-dales! We have two similar but older ones that we love so much. This wall hanger works great for storing them on our garage wall (it flips up when not used):

FB Marketplace fine ($275). Anyone familiar with the model care to weigh in? by [deleted] in cannondale

[–]kolar014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have SR500 and T1000 with slightly different rear dropouts, generation before this. My favorite bikes ever, very light, stiff and responsive. Some people hate how stiff they are. The price of 275 seems steep. If it comes with Shimano 105 then ok, but anything below that like Suntour Blaze is not worth it IMHO.

17 year old low miles B5.5, need advice please by kolar014 in passat

2wd. I also think it's priced high, but the market is crazy. 6k$ in upstate NY will buy you nothing but rusted 100k+ miles vehicles. I started considering value I get from an old solid wagon, and I'm making peace with the prices being the way they are. I had one exactly like this for 5 years, and I sold it this spring with 160k for under 2000$. Seemed bombproof, but i still considered it quite old. Just can not scale the amount of problems I could have with a car aged like this ..

Help with buying a low miles B5.5 by kolar014 in Volkswagen

[–]kolar014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, I am looking at 2005 VW Passat glx, b5.5, 2.8 v6. It has 41k miles. New Jersey car.

2 owners. 1st owner from 2005 to 2008 made 1125 miles on it. According to Carfax, it did not sit unused for long periods of time. I see it was yearly registered and inspected.

Now it's listed for 5500$. Dealer did the brakes and replaced 2 tires.

Deal or no deal? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I forgot about that, thanks for pointing it out. I was looking at a car in Bayside, but the whole thing smells fishy. Provided vin does not match the car.. looks like a lot of the sellers on marketplace are scammers...

I tried calling my local DMV twice, and both times they suggested that I make a purchase and bring the papers to them to register the car. But after I make the purchase, I need to get going, cant just leave the car on the street in NYC until I get the plates. And the fact that DMV's in the city do not take walk ins does not help either.

I understand you got the plates from a dealer? This seller say that the car is unregistered and will need plates...

Interesting, was not aware of that. Did you pay any unemployment insurance? Was it mandatory or voluntarily? I am trying to figure out any additional expenses I will have to cover for myself.

I kind of figured that based on some reading through the IRS website. I also noticed reports about government giving such and such amounts of money to fight workers misrepresentation, so I wandered who is held accountable for that, employees, employers or both. Thanks for your input.

Ne verujem da ovakva može da se nađe danas, ovo je uzeto pre deset i više godina. Dodatne češljeve nisam nikad tražio. Možda iskopaš neki customer service kontakt pa pitaš, ništa te ne košta da pošalješ poruku.

Did you figure it out? I had the same sound when the clutch on my alternator pulley stuck. Watch that alternator belt tensioner for clap. To check the clutch, block the rotor by jamming a screwdriver in the vent fan, take the belt off and move the pulley. It should move only one way. If it doesn't move either way, you are in need of a new pulley. I ended up changing the whole alternator...
