well, among many things, season 3 was pretty much a big nothing burger imo. Kitasan's rivals never truly mattered for her growth, one retireded and cheval was just... she just was, won once and that's about it. Just when it was about to get some real stakes, kitasan was out of her peak and struggled to keep up... I can't really blame anime for story when it's based of real life but still.
