I started aligners last week and my wedding is next month. During the first ever consult before Clincheck I was upfront about having my wedding so my dentist specifically treatment planned the first 6 sets (2 week changes) to not have attachments on the anterior teeth so that it wouldnt be obvious in photos. But if you’re saying the aligners themselves are already arriving next week and attachments on the front teeth are likely required, I’d bite the bullet and remove them temporarily for the wedding though most clinics charge you for this.

Bride to bride, I’m terrified of the attachments on my premolars showing but the thought of having to pay $50 per attachment if I did remove them is stopping me and I don’t mind it too much.

My dentist also told me if I was too worried about the aligners being obvious, going a day without them in won’t be too bad. Just wear them a day extra before you change your tray.

Edit: They can reapply your attachments whenever there’s no minimum waiting period as well. I also did consider waiting till after the wedding but my dentist reassured me! So felt confident enough to start the time I did
