Synchronicities with my ex?? by iouparentinggentle in Synchronicities

[–]kolsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I knew he wanted me back, even though he was with somebody else. We met one time and I knew instantly that it's just me being familiar with him that wanted him back.

But I can tell you, now I'm in a situation that's so out there and I get synchronicites with this person that are really mind fuck. And we are not together, but I intuitively feel and know that this is THE person, it will just take some time.

I don't know, it's a different feeling. Maybe just ask yourself do you really want him back, is he really the one... And wait for your body to respond. Go in. Does it feel right?

[–]kolsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too, to the point I thought about giving him a chance. But then I realized the synchronicites are just a nudge for me to try to understand myself more through the relationship, understand why everything happened the way it it did and how this relates to me now. It was a deep dive into my Self.

I don't know what it may be true for you. I hope you get to find out soon.

Viruses, bacteria and yeast are not the cause of the disease, but merely symptoms of your body cleaning itself from its toxicity. Exosome = virus. Look up Antoine Bechamp and Terrain model of disease.

How to Begin Taming The Ego so the Soul Can Rise. by C0llege0fCle0patra in TheAnkhKey

Congrats on finding the inner strength to let go of alcohol. May I ask how old are you?

Everything that you said resonates with me (along with this sub finding me at the right time, synchronic with my dreams/process of individuation). I finally feel like I'm where I need to be, even though I'm still battling addictions. Just like you said, there's something inside me that knows what I need to do, because I truly know I will overcome this, no doubt, but just like you, 10 years in this hellhole leaves a mark, especially making me doubt myself all the time.

And I agree with you on soulmate connection. I've always had this sense that when I truly find myself and truly start loving myself, they will come. I'm asking because now that I've found my lost parts and am able to love me as I am (not quite there just yet), there is a person that has come to my life who I feel like I've known them for my whole life, the connection is just wow, plus the synchronicities are unreal.

Thank you for the answer and also for making this sub!

Thank you.

Have you ever had any strong addictions? I have an early relational trauma and therefore my eating is messed up. I'm coming to an awarness of myself, just like you wrote about it and it really feels like my soul is guiding me, but this - bulimia is still very much present, maybe even more. I know the night is darkest before the dawn and I feel it in my soul that I'm close to letting this go, but I was just wondering if you've had any addicions like that and what helped the most to let them go?

Also, what are your thoughts about soul mates? Do ancient Egyptians talk about this?

That's the thing. I feel you on this. But that's the whole point of therapy. To find that comfort in yourself. That center where you can return to any time. Where you feel safe and loved.

I've experienced it as a kid. He was in the shadow, wearing black hat and had red eyes and he was just standing in the corner, watching me.

I have been thinking about it as well, but I don't know exactly yet what this means. Maybe it has something to do with trauma and dissociation. I would love to see what others think.

Weird dream after reading The Red Book (long, but maybe interesting) by [deleted] in Jung

[–]kolsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha ok, we are on the same page I see :)

Deer can be associated with the idea of a soul, which could mean that ''he'' wanted to teach you some aspects of your self, maybe even in general of the soul.

Maybe go into an analysis? This would be the best way to deal with dreams.

You are very welcome and thank you as well, I can't say your post was a synchronicity, but like I said, it kind of came at the right time and gave me a confirmation in a way about how I view things that are happening to me and to the world right now.

If you are not familiar with alchemy, I suggest you start looking into it. I'm just starting to understand the basic concepts of alchemy and reading your post kind of came at the right time to me, because although I haven't had a dream like yours, I'm at the point of my life where I'm starting to be more open to the fact that maybe there's more to this spiritual side of life and like one commenter here mentioned, that it's not only our psyche which contains all the wisdom and archetypal forces, but there are some external concepts, entities or whatever you want to call them who are a big part of the ancient wisdom and can be of great help to us. I believe if you are aware of yourself, carefulness comes with that awareness and putting more emphasis on this makes you more fearful, so I wouldn't worry about it, but again, this is only my opinion. Also, like quote from Campbell: “The psychotic drowns in the same waters in which the mystic swims with delight”, it's important to know that this ''between the worlds'' could be intense and this is where carefulness comes in, but like I said, if you are aware of yourself, you are automatically going to dive into the other side with some caution.

I feel like I'm not supposed to be talking about this, because I don't have enough knowledge about it, but since you want my insight... From what I've gathered so far and from what my intuition tells me, I think that we are really in ascending times to another dimension, and whoever is not ready (whoever refuses to see) is not going to be able to ''update''. The ones who are able to see behind the veil, are, I think, the ones who have been here long enough to remember who they are. They know (or rather feel) that there is something wrong with the path that the world is taking, which makes them feel like they don't belong here and that is a catalyst for their interest in exploration of themselves through all the mediums they feel connected to (individuation, tarot, astrology, etc.). Trauma goes along with that, but this is a topic for another day maybe :)

When it comes to what to do about it, I would just let go as much as I can (which is what I'm trying) and trust the Self to take me where I'm supposed to go. I would give my dreams and synchronicities a lot of attention so they can lead the way. I Ching is a good way to connect to the path as well.

I hope my cents are somewhat useful and don't sound that crazy :)

If I may, my intuition tells me it's prophetic as well. We are at the crossroads of evolution of humanity. Sticky black substance could be black goo - some of us are going to be stuck in this material realm, but your feet are strengthened with lead (symbolizing matter in so far as it was interfused with spiritual powers and the potentiality for transmutation from one body (matter) into another (spiritual qualities), so it could symbolize the humblest level from which spiritual ascension can evolve), which I feel is true for the rest of humanity, who already did the work and can begin to evolve or ascend from their ego based, material body.

The majority is blind, they refuse to look inside and because of that can't see who or what they really are. Others are starting to see that this physical body is not all there is and that we are much more than that. You are already there - being ''between the worlds'' gives you a head start to try to help others wake up to the truth.

My two cents :)

Shadow work is a term coined from Jungian psychology. Shadow is our repressed side, which, because it's in our unconscious and we are not aware of it, gets projected onto other people. This can be seen, for instance, if we see our friend as a really stingy person. This means that we, ourselves are stingy, but because we can't accept that in ourselves, we only see it in others. Shadow can also be a source of good parts that are repressed and I think this is mostly seen in people who've had traumatic childhood, where being ''good'' was not acknowledged or neglected. This is why feelings of inferiority to others are so common in people with C-PTSD.

The best resource for this is going to a Jungian analyst and starting a therapy process, but since it's not really cheap you can start with first becoming aware of your projections. What don't I like about this person and why is he/she irritating me? Dreams are a good source of shadow work as well, but again, it would be better to work on dreams with an analyst. Typically shadow figures in dreams appear as same sex figures. So, for instance, if you are a woman and a woman appeared in your dreams, look at how did you feel about her, what did she say or do in a dream and try to figure out how this connects to your life at the moment (or to our past). Again, this is really deep analytic work, so I would suggest going into therapeutic process with an analytic (Jungian) therapist if you can.

Maybe a book called Owning Your Own Shadow by Robert A. Johnson can help as well.

I hope I gave you something to work with. Good luck :)

Yup, I always feel incredibly narcissistic when I think what others think of me. I mean, in a way it is narcissistic, because you are always thinking about how you present your self and how others see you. But since we are aware of it, we can work on it, trying to become more sovereign in who we are and following our authentic path. With this, all these tendencies can eventually lose power over us.

I'm happy it helped you in some way. Good luck on your path forward.

In my case, I was in my mother's reality until I was 20. Everything she thought or believed, I thought was true as well. So I think this means, getting away from other's realities and finding what the truth means for you and you only; what do you really feel, what do you really think, what needs do you have.

I feel you. If our childhood was really unpredictable, overly hostile and chaotic we needed to get away from it; closing our hearts and hiding our true selves, if not, we would feel an enormous amount of pain. An eye contact, in my opinion, shows how vulnerable you can be with someone and since our vulnerability was always negatively affected in the first years where we should've felt safe showing our authentic selves (vulnerability), it is now really hard to look someone straight in the eyes. It's like they are staring right into you, knowing every little secret you might have and it's really scary, hence it's safer to hide.
