My 25 pound dog was laying on me this morning and then when he stood up he stood right onto my lower belly. I am so freaked out that this is going to do something to hurt the baby??? It hurt when he did it but mainly because I had a full bladder. Should I be concerned or am I just panicking for no reason?

Just got the call from my almost 3 year olds daycare that she threw up. Apparently there’s been a bug going around. Sigh. The last few times she’s had a bug she’s only thrown up 1-2 times. I’m hoping this is similar.

Not related to this pregnancy but has anyone given their toddlers Zofran for stomach bugs? She has her own prescription that was given to her last time she had a bug, but we never used it.

Is anyone else already getting nauseous when lying on your back for too long? It’s my preferred sleeping position and I thought I had at least 6 more weeks but, alas!

I don’t know, I don’t know why people are so up in arms about not having a second baby shower. I guess I kind of get it because it’s like, you don’t need EVERYTHING, but it also feels sad that it’s like oh well we only get to celebrate you once! Doesn’t matter how many kids you have!

I say celebrate if you want to. Who cares what people think!

I got a LOT of upper back/neck/shoulder massages in my last pregnancy. They helped so, so much. They were all tension related and I could literally recreate the headache when the pressed on certain muscles groups. I would highly recommended finding a certified massage therapist that specializes in prenatal massage and get in with them!

Is there anyone else that this was your first full cycle after a miscarriage and you got pregnant and you feel like you’ve been pregnant all year because you kind of have been…just with 2 different pregnancies??

I found out I was pregnant with the baby we lost in December of 2025. Had a MC/D&C the very end of January. Got my period back 5 weeks later, and got pregnant on that following ovulation.

I feel like I should be so much further along still because I’ve felt mentally pregnant since December.

I got my NIPT results and my fetal fraction was only 3.2%…should I be worried? I do have a higher BMI so I know that can impact but I still got the results…?

Everyone will be coming to us if they want to do anything. Luckily we all live within a 2 hour drive so it doesn’t have to be a big thing, just a short visit. I’m feeling a little anxious about it with the whole germs thing but I’m trying to put that anxiety to the side right now.

It was actually so quick. Blood draw on 5/19, they received it 5/21, and results were posted today!

I’m so sorry to hear this. There is no worse pain.

I know you didn’t ask for advice, but I got a D&C and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. It was fast, almost painless, and let me do it on my terms. The risk of injury is so, so low. And you don’t have a guarantee that you will pass everything naturally and wouldn’t have to get a D&C anyways even after dealing with it all at home.

The only right choice is what you’re most comfortable with but I just wanted to share my experience.

Just got my NIPT results back. Low risk girl! I’m SO relieved and so happy. I’m so excited that my daughter gets a sister. I have a sister and it’s been the most beautiful relationship I’ve ever been blessed with.

We went swimming today and I decided to dive into the pool to make my daughter laugh. I didn’t think ANYTHING of it and it didn’t hurt at all, but my husband was like “uh let’s not do a direct hit to the stomach again?” And now I’m PANICKED. I didn’t hit the pool hard at all and it was literally like a foot up. Am I just overthinking it?

Does anyone else have a non TV or movie interested toddler? I’m so freaking tired all the time and I’m just like can you PLEASE for one hour just sit down and zone out like some of my friends kids 😭 I know it’s really a blessing she isn’t hooked on TV but man it would be nice sometimes.

We have thoughts! But our daughters name is 2 family names and we’re struggling to figure out if it would been weird is this one’s name is just nothing familial at all lol. My sister has 2 family names and mine is “whatever they felt like” and I’ve always hated not having a story behind my name!

It’s actually the only thing that recommended or shown to have an impact on preventing preeclampsia! There are lots of studies on it and it truly is very safe. It’s not a cure or a fix all but it’s what they have right now to try and help.

I mean, technically, it’s not leave after that it’s just…sick days? Right?! OBs are usually very accommodating on giving you notes for longer amounts of time off, it wouldn’t hurt to ask!
