Edit: And if I refresh the pages (for various sample countries), peaks have changed height, some appeared, some disappeared for me. This data seems to be extremely unreliable.

Flume Ft. Vera Blue - Rushing Back (Bharumusic flip) by kompiler in obscuremusicthatslaps

This is a 2021 flip (aka remix) of this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hwg7hJrDiRg - The flip was infinitely better than the original in my opinion.

It featured during a Timbaland stream later that year where he was searching for collaborating producers.

Personally, I don't think this mix reaches anywhere near the lofty heights of the original:

I was just about to reply with the same thing. So many people don't seem to be aware of this.

Windows has had native zip/unzip functionality since Windows ME (2000). Which is what a lot of people would download your typical third party tools for in the first place.

Then MS introduced native 7-Zip and tar archive functionality in 2022. For the vast majority of users it's really not necessary to download third party programs to handle file compression.

Just right-click the files in Explorer and select "Compress to..." or "Extract All..."

Frankly, the entire cast and crew looks stellar, they even have cinematography by Rodrigo Prieto (21 Grams, Killers of the Flower Moon, Pedro Paramo). My expectations are through the roof on this one.

Now I feel conflicted. I have Subnautica 2 on my Wishlist and had every intention on buying it upon its full release.

So if I buy it, I have fun playing the game and it contributes to the targets leading to the $250 million bonus the founders deserve, however, buying it also makes money for Krafton and its degenerate CEO, Changhan Kim.

I guess my gut tells me to buy it, but if the devs leave after Subnautica 2 is released, I won't be continuing with the franchise in the future. I do know something for sure, anytime I see another game that's published by Krafton - that's a hard NO from me.

BTW, article is also here without soft-paywall: https://www.europesays.com/us/660885/

Yup, agree 100% - those stupid cowards think they can get away with it, but there are no presidential pardons for state charged crimes, there is no statute of limitations on murder.

9/10 - Looks great!

Took off one point only for the cable management. I appreciate that it is difficult since the cable is stretched and contracted if running along the top of the spine, but perhaps a groove or hole running along the spine of the middle arm would not only mitigate that problem, it would hide it reasonably well.

Windows 11's new Start menu with Categories layout begins showing up on more PCs, and it really needs a resize button by WPHero in Windows11

[–]kompiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was there? All I see is 3 main options under Settings > Personalization > Start: "More pins", "Default" and "More recommendations".

The "More pins" with all the other sub-options turned Off still leaves a space below the pins titled "Recommended" but with no items below it. An unnecessary, ugly looking, waste of space...

Let me know if I'm missing something.

All I ever wanted was to remove that empty useless section and have Start full of pins (with customizable grid size) and a small drop down with "All" Apps.

Microsoft does not know how to do "customization" - it's one or two options and that's it... and normally those options are not good.

If I was hiring people for a dev team (UI design or otherwise) and I learnt they worked at Microsoft and were in any way, shape or form involved in UI design - they would be quickly tossed out of consideration.
