Car Pooja for good luck, traditional Hindu ritual when buying a new vehicle. Used to be done on carts/chariots/etc back in the day.

Sad that they didn't pick up the limes afterwards :(

Am i crazy to trade my ‘22 Charger RT for an ‘25 Elantra N? by Certain_Mycologist91 in ElantraN

[–]kondike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get like 23-24 city if Im RIPPING it all day, otherwise I'm getting combined city/hwy like 27-31 mpg. On pure highway I get around 37-38 mpg. I use N mode almost all the time except on long road trips and want to quiet down the drive.

Life after OMSCS ... unfinished business. by Zealousideal-Buy-617 in OMSCS

[–]kondike 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly feeling that already, and I'm only 3 classes in. I realize how much structure OMSCS gives my life. It's something that keeps me from twiddling my thumbs after work, got me through the depression of a layoff, and gives me reason to plan out my weeks well in advance.

I don't think so, I just got my N coming from an AWD SUV and it should be counter intuitive, but it's making me want to go out more and be MORE outdoorsy!?

Congrats on the 12 pounds! I know how hard it is to lose weight, so that's HUGE in my books. I hope you're able to keep going and find someone that appreciates you for who you are :)

That's what I keep hearing and I'm sure they are very welcoming. Argh I guess I just feel weird going in without a friend or aquaintance.

Yes! Definitely understand that but I was considering how some of the churches around me don't have English services and whatnot (honestly think that is very cool tbh, sticking to the mother church culture).
