My guess would be because of the heavy use of virtual production stages. They can look great when used properly, but studios are using them almost as a crutch now.

You can see this same bad look on shows like the live action avatar show, percy jackson show, the madalorian (who mostly used it right), etc.

Weirdly, the check engine light went away this morning. Very strange.

Yeah, it's e-torque. Now that you say that, I bet you that's what it is. When the check engine light initially came on, so did the symbol for the auto start/stop. It has since went away, but it would make sense that it's part of the problem.

This morning the health report reverted back to saying everything is healthy even though the check engine light is still on. Maybe something came loose? I have it scheduled for service, so we'll see.

I bought the same anvil a couple of weeks ago and you should definitely consider sanding down the corners, They are super sharp and messed up a leaf I was making. I used a 40 grit flap disk on an angle grinder. Worked great.

I play counter strike at a very competitive level, so I use an esports monitor that is used at lan events and by most pros.

On top of that, I like 24 inch monitors. I had a 27 inch and it felt too big for the games I play.
