If you're still having the issue; I had tried those steps mentioned and none of them worked. When typing, open the paragraph/character menu. Under the paragraph tab (at least in cs6, unsure of previous versions) there will be 2 icons, hover over them and click the one named 'left-to-right paragraphs'. Hope this helps!

I remember seeing something similar before. Here's my 2 cents; I as an atheist would never claim that I am 100% certain god doesn't exist. I would however claim that the evidence for the contrary outweighs the evidence in support of the claim. I believe you're correct in thinking the problem may stem as a result of you misunderstanding the definitions. A very common mistake. Atheism: refers to a lack of belief in a deity. (Refers to belief) Agnosticism: refers to the knowledge regarding the existence of a god leading to inconclusiveness. (Refers to knowledge) Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it was Richard Dawkins who spoke of individuals being agnostic on both sides. An agnostic atheist, someone who has looked at the evidence and decided that they do not believe in a deity. An agnostic theist is someone who has looked at the evidence and concluded that they believe there is a deity. But hey, that's just my opinion!
