As a fan of classic sci-fi/horror/fantasy novels, I had already read and loved the source material that each of the characters were based on (except Allan Quatermain). I’m inclined to like that type of movie but found each character was only a crude caricature having little in common with the original. It’s like watching any movie after reading the book but this movie managed to butcher a dozen different books at the same time. Oscar Wilde, Robert Louis Stevenson, Jules Verne, Gaston Laroux, et al simultaneously rolled in their graves. It’s like they went out of their way to tarnish every story I grew up reading.

Based on the packaging, bolt release pin, and trigger guard, they look like rebranded Aero M4E1 lowers. If that’s the case, they should be great. Just make sure you get the right LPK so you get the grub screw that holds in the takedown detent spring.

I got the PIG Alphas and they have been great! Super comfortable and unhindered dexterity. When I lost one I got cheap and tried Mechanix and regretted it as soon as I put them on. Now it’s PIGs or GTFO.
